De-facto standar for graphs & diagrams

  • February 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s so fast and easy to use. Also, I can share the documents with my team, so we can work together. The abundance of icons to use in a diagram is more than adequate.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing yet. I hope the initial start-up of the GUI can be a little faster, but I guess it is because of the first run of the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
share knowledge about the systems & network infrastructure.

Experience with Lucidchart

  • February 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
UI is so simple and clean. I have tried other diagramming tools like Visual Studio, but Lucichart outperforms them by far. When trying to organize different objects in a diagram everything moves really smoothly. It has definitely helped me produce high quality diagrams for my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I want to move objects in a diagram, for some reason it thinks that I want to draw an arrow, which prevents me from moving the object. There might be a configuration to toggle moving object/drawing arrow on and off, but I have not looked into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of diagrams that I have seen at my workplace come from Powerpoints, which works fine, but they take a lot of time and effort to create. Lucidchart helps make the whole diagramming proccess much more efficient and neat, which in turn saves time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I don't have any dislike, but if we can more special build components for system design it would be great.

Very easy to use, easy to share idea

Exactly What I Needed!

  • February 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I was tasked to create a flowchart to clearly diagram information taken from a data scripting document. I continuously searched the internet to find something that would allow me to do this effectively, but to no avail. Excel nor Word was what I needed to get this information across. I tried the trial for Lucidchart and immediately knew it was exactly what I needed. It has upgraded tools to map, drag and create your desired flowchart. I was able to effortlessly digram the information clearly so that anyone who looked at it knew how to read it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I can honestly say I disliked about Lucidchart. My dislikes may be a lack of continued usage in where you learn as you go. The more you do, the more you learn. I cannot figure out how to get it to enlarge for printing or PDF purposes. Other than that, this is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved having to properly, clearly and effectively show the flow of a process. I had to take information from a data script and put it into a flowchart for easy reading and understanding of how the process was scripted.

Easy to Use and Visually Descriptive

  • February 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Lucidchart diagramming tools include shape libraries like AWS Architecture and Kubernetes. This makes it easy for me to create visually descriptive diagrams my team can use to communicate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text editing options inside Lucidchart diagrams are minimal. I haven't figured out how to highlight important words in textboxes I've added to charts. At least there are bold, italics, and underlines, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helps me create visualizations of our tech architecture behind projects I work on. Using a Lucidchart diagram as a whiteboard during a zoom meeting with other engineers and stakeholders while we brainstorm is also easy.

Intuitive, Clean, and Easy to Use

  • February 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucidchart is intuitive. It anticipates my needs in the process flow effectively and makes for smooth transitions and swift project completion. In short, it's easy to use and nice looking. I use it all the time, especially for creating process visuals. I highly recommend Lucidchart to my colleagues, friends, and anyone needing a helpful visualization tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing is perfect, but Lucidchart is close. However, sometimes the connecting arrows from block to block duplicate and feel clunky. It's the least intuitive function of Lucidchart, though, with practice, it is easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allows me to create a straightforward process that anyone reviewing can easily understand. Sometimes the complexity of the process needs to be broken down step-by-step, and Lucidchart does this efficiently.

Lucid is a Dream!

  • February 13, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create and collaborate with my team in such an effortless way is absolutely the best thing we could have ever hoped for. I suggested using Lucid after previously using it at another company I was with, and I genuinely believe it's one of the best tools I've ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it could integrate with HubSpot and the upload doc fields were more user-friendly, so we didn't need a developer to jump on a call to assist with something we could do ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart and Lucidspark are both solving the issue of being a company built with remote workers. Lucid provides platforms for collaboration that helps fill the "users not present" gap.

Has most features I saw in MS Visio

  • February 13, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is drag and drop as we see in MS Visio. Very clean and easy to create the diagrams during meeting and to share quickly to participate in the updating the diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used it for less than a month so I might need some more time to understand the application better. One of the things, I miss is Autofit to diagram feature in MS Visio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing with others to collaborate

Best Visual Collaboration Tool

  • February 13, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily share my build flowcharts with different key stakeholders. My developer team and my clients equally. The collaborative feature makes the product stand out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I have used the product for more than half a dozen of assignments, didn't find anything that I disliked
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we design the solution for our customer, visual representation of design and data flow plays a key role. Lucidchart helps to solve this problem to the best possible extent.

It's accessibility - being able to log in on any web browser rather than download software
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the arrows on the process maps do not line up and can be fiddly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to clarify business processes and problem solve.
