Captures user journeys & flows easily
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to easily create flowcharts depicting user journeys & business processes. The ability to add notes & layers helps in managing complexity. The ability to convert to PDF makes sharing across teams a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart does not integrate with other widely used collaboration tools. Also, ability to search documents within Lucid is limited

What do you like best about the product?
I like the conciseness of Lucidchart, making diagramming and organization easy. The addition of multiple simple shapes that color can be changed is beneficial. I noticed that some of the shapes are incredibly similar, so I am unsure which shape I used between the two.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I try to aline a shape or line to the grid, usually it won't just "snap" into place; rather I will have to spend some time trying to line it, which is still a hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is creating a sort of all-in-one platform where I can do many tasks that previously needed many different platforms, with the added bonus that it's free.
Easy to use chart/diagram software
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a way to display clear and concise diagrams and charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of options to choose from when creating charts so sometimes it's hard to know which one to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helps by helping me be able to bring a flow chart and diagram to the team to visualize the problem space. It helps by bringing everyone to the same page and making sure that the flow is clear.
I'm the Chart Maker for my depart. I provide updates on a Quarterly basis or as requested by HR.
What do you like best about the product?
The diagrams are beneficial. The diagrams are handy and provide a great visual.
What do you dislike about the product?
This comment could be a user issue. However, I find that editing our department org charts, sometimes the keys are too sensitive when editing a line or bullet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company organizational charts are the main reason we use Lucid Chart. The charts are beneficial for our department as we use them as needed for attachments when referencing any changes to our department headcount.
Good charts with some technical integration issues
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid charts are super easy to use, they provide a lot of ready-to-use templates and so called "shapes" for various diagrams, charts or maps. You can visualize what you have in your mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, Lucid could do better with integrations especially regarding Confluence. I encountered various trouble trying to add a chart into a Confluence page, in the end I have to export my chart into an image

Visualize thoughts and thinking into charts, maps and diagrams. It helps technical documentation writing easier, expressing your ideas better to other team members
User-friendly and good potential
What do you like best about the product?
Expanding working space and formatting tools accessible by collaborators simultaneously

Not easy to retreive deleted content and free version only allows three boards

Dynamic, editable visual maps for synchronous collaborations
Best Flowchart tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Great for making flow charts for complex processes. Easy to customize. Paid version is worth the money as the free version doesn't give you enough objects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes hard to get the arrows to click in just right or to select large portions of a chart to adjust positioning, but overall still the best tool available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to be able to clearly illustrate a process. It's much easier for teams to understand the flow charts and decision trees than walls of text. We had low rates of people following all instructions with written processes, and it has improved significantly with visual flow charts.
User friendly and quick
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is very user friendly for the novice. Has all the bells and whistles you need to create a visual diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the visuals can be more modernly created and upgraded.

Creating diagrams quickly and in a collaborative fashion.
Lucidchart is helpful for creating diagrams that are easy to understand

Lucidchart is very user-friendly. It was easy to figure out how to use it without outside help. Additionally, I found Lucidchart to be an excellent tool for creating large diagrams and organizing my thoughts.

Occasionally I would receive a message that I had run out of shapes.

Lucidchart helps me solve the problem of being concise with my diagrams and helps me figure out how I want my information to flow. It has been a great tool and has helped my performance.
Intuitive with all of the basic features I need
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, intuitive design, and the included standard library of shapes/assets should address most use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unclear who is a collaborator on a file, who owns the file, and who all has access.

Everything from quickly putting together an org chart to mapping our complex business workflows.
