What do you like best about the product?
I like that my company provides a Lucidchart subscription and that it is a solid standard for design diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there's no dark mode, so working in the desktop app hurts my eyes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software development via a solid design system that can be shared and reviewed by my peers

What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly I can create new or copy existing visualizations and diagrams for internal and customer use. The symbol libraries are already very helpful and the tool supports adding external images easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've found that I don't like about LucideChart is sharing libraries of my symbols w/ other users is difficult, I've also been unable to take advantage of templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allows me to very quickly build architecture diagrams and flow charts for many different audiences. The speed that I can reuse existing diagrams, as well as the speed that I can create new ones makes Lucidchart very valuable to me.
Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchat is very easy to use and has everything I need! I can manage, share and edit projects with ease. I love going through the templates that already exist. It helps me come up with new ideas!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Lucidchart is that when I upload a flow chart from another platform, it does not sync as well, and sometimes I have to redo the full flow and it can be a time suck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of my time is spent in Lucidchart! It helps me tell the story and process of our products from the perspective of the end user and the internal user. It benefits my role at my company!

Much less complicated than using diagramming tools in Power point slides

Visualizing our user journeys and system flows, Lucidchart makes it easier than using Google Slides based on the easy to use functionality around flows. It also allows real time collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
Flowcharts and the ability to easily systems map. Being able to share and collaborate on flow charts with teammates. Easy to use and drag and drop is a useful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more options for shape sizes in the flow chart. A bullet point feature in the actual shapes itself would also be a good addition. The lines to connect the bubbles are difficult to navigate and make straight.

Brainstorming - no other platform allows this seamlessly. Systems mapping complicated topics; creating flowchart for topics; easy to explain complicated ideas
Easy to use - fills in gaps
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's the easiest way to diagram things that normally you'd have to either be an Excel wizard to create or draw out by hand. Incredibly helpful for visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a minute to figure out exactly where everything was -- I'd love if there was more of a tutorial almost by template type?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has moved within different teams/orgs in the company, and we've had hierarchical changes happen quickly as well. Lucid is helpful for visualizing and distributing that information quickly.
Robust tool for visualization of idea collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is a very robust tool that has proven helpful in our small engineering consulting firm. We use it to effectively brainstorm ideas and solutions as our team works both in-office and virtually and it allows for easy documentation and visualization of ideas. Part of our role as consultants is to also generate a lot of flowcharts and Lucidchart makes this a seamless process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking templates. I think Lucidchart still has a long way to go in terms of providing more templates and have them categorized per project roles, eg product manager, UI/UX designer etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us effectively collaborate as a team especially as we work remotely and sometimes, asynchronously. Being able to see real-time updates on Lucidchart is crucial to our success as well.
Easy and convenient to use
What do you like best about the product?
The shape library is very convenient and preset shapes that can quickly meet my needs, such as data flow shapes, smart containers, smart tables, the timeline for project status etc. It is also easy and accurate to customize the shape and size.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope LucidChart can add some callouts (different shapes) to enable users to highlight key notes instead of using sticky notes or a simple text box.

Using Lucidchart to visualize the process, workflow, project status etc.
