I use Lucidchart to create BPP flow charts for software architecture.
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful aspect of Lucidchart in my situation is the speed with which ideas can be presented.
What do you dislike about the product?
A frustrating aspect of Lucidchart is a lack of explanations of standard shape use-cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allows me to provide visual explanations of software architecture so that management and non-development staff can more easily understand the flows.
I did Database course and for the ER diagram used Lucid Chart. Everything was simple to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity. I loved how it was really easy to find everything here. Was able to finish all my ER diagrams really fast using Lucidchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation of using objects. I was hoping students would get the access to use more objects for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There might be other functionality regarding business. But for ER Diagrams this website is the best.
Very good and simple
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple product that has tons of functionality. It can be used for lots of projects and allows for real time collaboration with peers. This website is much better than the others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have real complaints about this product as it works seamlessly and doesent have a large amount of bugs. Theres always place for improvement and i believe this could be made better by adding more input options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are no problems, Some key features are very useful like editing as a group this allows me and my peers to communicate better over the internet using this tool!
Lucidchart allows extremely fast diagramming for wireframing UI/UX dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive Lucidchart is. There is virtually no learning curve, especially for those who are familiar with keyboard shortcuts. I can create wireframes extremely quickly and copy+paste external pictures and visuals to boost my graphics even more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a hinder for other people to work on Lucidchart with me if they don't have a subscription. I can't use the collaboration options or share Lucidchart so it's really just for me to design on my own and then save pictures to show to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Lucidchart to create an idea of how I wanted to design a Tableau dashboard that used real data. I used Lucidchart to show the ideas to stakeholders in advance and derive feedback before the Tableau dashboard was created, because that's going to be a lot less flexible and clunkier.
Easy to learn, intuitive product!
What do you like best about the product?
Easily manipulated and managed flowcharts. Can have multiple active charts simultaneously which can be quite useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes arrows are stubborn in their direction, but they can be easily deleted and replaced with a new, (less stubborn) one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Possible Flow of user sequencing. Software steps to achieve a desired outcome for a user.

What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart is very user-friendly. The alignment and linking features "just work" and save time on tedious tasks like sizing and alignment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The shape library can be challenging to navigate. There is no way to autofill very commonly used templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows quickly creating diagrams for use in report deliverables and presentations.

I like to use Lucidchart to visualize data flows for my DataEng team. The tool is easy to use and fast to learn. Highly recommend!

I currently can't think of a downside to working in Lucidchart.

Lucidchart helps my team quickly get on the same page and visualize a complex problem.
Great product for creating process flows for presentations
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are a variety of shapes to choose from and it is easy to edit. The arrows can easily illustrate the process flow, especially if there are multiple flows needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could group objects and flows together to move them around easily. Sometimes the arrow is hard to maneuver in the direction that I want it. I wish it was easier to copy and paste text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me visualize how a process works from start and finish and creates an easy way to download and present to my team. It helps me explain complex situations in an easy to read diagram.
Collaborative mind mapping at it's best
What do you like best about the product?
I love the following feature for sharing and discussing large charts during meetings. Lucid Charts are easy to create and fun to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, I find it challenging to understand the size of the chart, making it difficult to get charts to the right size for PDFs, despite the grid lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid chart makes it easy to collaborate on building visuals to explain abstract and complex concepts. This has been helpful with working with diverse learners.
