I'm a design student and I tried several tools to create a flow chart. Lucid chart was easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand and use to quickly create flow charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Possibly the cost, currently, I"m an unemployed student.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am more productive because it provides a quick way to create a basic flow chart but allows for some detail to create a professional look.

Ease of use and quickly creates flow charts with important and relevant elements to create designs.
Very simple to use and has a lot of symbols and descriptions
What do you like best about the product?
Helps facilitate documenting all business processes with, a very simple UI that also facilitates the work. Having so many symbols and ease of tailoring any symbol
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered any dislikes during my experience using Lucidchart. However, i didn't like the fact that the free trial limited the number of symbols i can use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Lucidchart to document current business processes and create an audit trail that can facilitate detecting and preventing any operational issues across many different departments

What do you like best about the product?
A key feature for me is the ability to decide and adjust where the arrows pass. In most tools I tried we have no control over their trajectory and they go through items in schemas and hinder readability.

3 editable items is very low in the freemium version. We used to have more!

Database schema and architectural schemas

What do you like best about the product?
The simple layout & easy access to Lucids facilities means that even those who aren't technically minded or apt within our school are still able to produce timetables for exams with ease as well create in numerous charts for their lessons
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've been able to notice is the initial cost. While worth it in the long run it was a bit of a shock on the pricing per person. Having said that as a school we did decide it well worth it

It is enabling us to finally have a uniform method of creating several timetables/charts. It's helped us create a more professional atmosphere among our staff & students as well.

The UI is simple and lets me make my charts fast and efficiently. Really good for creating complex data architecture diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
More inbuilt shapes would be amazing as I find that some of the models I make need special shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to make presentations for project proposals and the app really helps me make these quickly.
Love LucidSpark for process flows
What do you like best about the product?
Love the visual organization of LucidSpark. It really helps with clients outlining certain processes that we build for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I don't like. It can be a little hard to learn how to use all of the features but it's easy enough to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process walkthroughs with clients. It's making training and teaching way easier to understand and comprehend.
Lucidspark...excellent replacement for Visio
What do you like best about the product?
I especially like the web-based interface and its easy-to-use overall functionality. I have been using Visio for many years and I am used to its interface. When I was told that I will need to change, I was a bit skeptical but was then pleasantly surprised by the many similarities between the two products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot really pint point anything I don't like about the product. I even tested the import of Visio workflow documents, and that worked flawlessly as well. There was one suggestion I made, which I don't know if that is even possible though. I had embedded local documents into a few of my Visio documents, and only the icon came over. However, it was easy to create hotspots and point it to our MS Teams share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not necessarily solving problems that I had, but it was relayed to me that it has a positive budget impact, compared to the Microsoft product line. Saving money is always a great benefit.

Sometimes the display of the different tools can be overwhelming at first

It solves the issues of concurrent collaboration and is a repository of ideation

It is more user-friendly compared to other Saas drawing products. I enjoyed the collaboration feature and predefined templates.

The only issue I had so far is the ERD imports. I couldn't import my existing MYSQL DB into lucid chart.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing an application requires a clear path and flow charts before the actual coding. Having something like lucid chart helped me create complex flow charts and application procedures.
It is also useful in infrastructure design. This way we know exactly how and where to deploy the application and if something needs to be changed in the future we'd know what would be affected. Like application updates or network changes.
