Lucidspark is a nice collaboration tool that my org has been increasingly leveraging.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, being able to have a lot of people simultaneously editing a board together, the snap to presenter feature is nice as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The load times when opening boards can be a bit long sometimes, the integration between multiple different Jira/Confluence instances can also be improved, and i think the ability to see what you're team is working on or has access to would make the product better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark is solving the problem of gathering feedback from everyone in a meeting. Our org has been able to have more collaborative meetings which keeps participants enaged. There is also a value in collecting all the different feedback from all the attendees.
Great Team Tool - Fun and Interactive
What do you like best about the product?
There are many ways to use Lucidspark with tons of pre-made templates. It is one of the best tools I have used for team planning and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation can by quite tricky to navigate. I feel like the learning curve is larger than what I am used to but once you figure it out, it makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is "how to we gather thoughts and feedback in a remote/global environment". Lucidspark allows collaboration and fosters a low-stress environment to capture feedback.
Easy to use product with lots of visuals and options
What do you like best about the product?
The easy of use of the interface makes it extremely easy to find whatever object or visual you need
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing thing that is a little cumbersome is granting users who aren't part of your organization access to a chart. Having to manually add users every time becomes somewhat time consuming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main think I use LucidChart for is for creating architecture diagrams for software development. It's a great way to collaborate interactively in realtime with peers
Great for Scrum Team Retros
What do you like best about the product?
LucidSpark has been a great addition to our team retrospective meetings every few weeks. The ability to customize our boards, work in live time or asynchronously, and the new timer functionality have made this tool powerful in gathering feedback from our team. We also love the ability to add reactions to cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have the ability to allow for anonymous submissions (maybe toggle it on an off) without having to generate a guest sharing link and having people sign in from a private browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidSpark allows our team to collaborate on retrospectives by allowing us to send out the board link ahead of time so folks can pre-populate answers and then allows us to review, update, and vote on these items during the meeting.
Easy to get started and collaborate!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that make it easy to get started! For someone who is not design-minded, this makes quick work of visualizing ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the import templates were easier to use. There are instructions included, but they're not as comprehensive as I need them to be. It would be nice if the import feature was enhanced to allow me to drop a file in and Lucidspark could make suggestions or walk me through the import.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting ideas and plans into a visual format makes it easier for people to understand quickly.
Great Collaborative Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that LucidSpark enables collaboration, visual communication, and an easy way for teams to visualize their contributions. It's great for helping everyone feel engaged and involved in planning and delegating tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The links on lucidspark are too small! They are hard to click on, I have to get right onto the paper clip to make it so that I can find hover text that provides the link.
I would love to see the ability to modify the size of the paperclip thing to my own liking and for the link to work when I click onto the icon vs. having to hover over it and then find the link to click to. :)
The following comment isn't a dislike but a feature I think may be helpful to add. It would be nice to see a description box to place a small note on what the document is about. Sometimes, teams label things in a way that isn't clear to newbies, so a description box would allow them to say something about the document and what the reader can expect.

I wish I could select multiple purposes for using lucidspark here in the review. Ultimately, the fact that lucidspark has lots of tools to visualize the thinking/planning process is what benefits me the most. I learn and retain information best when it's visualized. It also helps me plan better because it alleviates the cognitive load.
Easy to proof of concept
What do you like best about the product?
I quickly jump in, mid-meeting, and sketch things out quickly without being bogged down by process. It's fast and easy to get others into the drawing and collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting lines aligning correctly has been a nuisance. It would be nice to default the connector type so I don't have to constantly set it (for instance, doing a db model).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing an easy to use interface that everyone in the company has access to and can quickly grasp. It then provides great export features to create artifcats.
Simple to begin but has the depth needed
What do you like best about the product?
It enables my remote teams to collaborate on complicated projects or roadmaps. The visualization that it enables allows us to organize our work in a way that allows for abstraction, but still contains the details.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of initial templates when beginning a roadmap or breakout phase means we have to spend time to set up our own, which is time we could have used elsewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to visualize where our clients are going, where we are going as a product org, and how someone could interact with features at a functional level. This saves us time as we usually need to actively work together across the country.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark was easy to use and enabled me to clearly project manage a large initiative and get across a complex system to those unfamiliar.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a handful of great features that were not readily accessible or easy to locate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark allows multiple team members to collaborate in a remote environment
Frequent User, Essential Whiteboard Collaboration Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Lucidchart users can import files, and we can do team crowdsourcing for virtual collaboration. I have used a number of different products in this space (MURAL, Miro) and have found that if you are already in the Lucid eco system, this is a no-brainer for displaced teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Purely file size means that the file takes some time to load in low-connectivity situations (such as Airplanes). However, this is to be expected in this type of software with vector graphics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a displaced product and UX team, and we rely on this heavily to brainstorm and collaborate. In fact, when I started, this wasn't happening, and it was impossible to perform my job functions without virtual whiteboarding.
