What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting objects together is sometimes a struggle, but once you get the hang of it, it gets much more fluent
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating easy-to-understand diagrams to share with customers and colleagues.
Quickly create flowcharts visualizing the flow of a business solution or application.
Quickly create flowcharts visualizing the flow of a business solution or application.
An amazing tool for collaboration, ideation and process flow generation!
What do you like best about the product?
Hands down - the smooth user experience and collaborative tools. It has something for everyone on the team; people can get on a call and bounce ideas off of each other. I like that it doesn't have a high learning curve; the tools are self-explanatory, and you can easily find the most commonly used tools right before you.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing on the top of my mind would be easier integration of data and changing the charts/elements. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but maybe we can have a few more fonts and switch between modes (dark/light/grey) too?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using LS for ideation on designs for our enterprise product lines. We also conduct design studios with other teams and benefit from simple UI to generate product strategies, wireframes, site maps etc.
I think it's the best general purpose diagramming tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its versatility allows me to create many kinds of diagrams. I don't have to purchase many tools to create different kinds of diagrams. This makes it the best value compared to the competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it's a general-purpose diagramming tool, it lacks certain features. For example, when generating DDL (SQL) from an ERD diagram, there's no validation nor the ability to generate relationships between entities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software architect, I often need to create diagrams or visualization to convey my ideas, especially to non-tech-savvy stakeholders. Lucidchart allows me to create easy-to-understand diagrams very fast.
Lucid is a far better design tool than anything else I have used in the past and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The menus are straightforward to navigate, and the amount of different symbols and network diagrams you have available make designing your networks a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some instances where the arrow tool became very unresponsive and not easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are regularly using Lucid to design a new and existing network infrastructure and we love how easily we can integrate this with our confluence network documentation
Useful but sometimes frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn, good templates, functional
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the for is infuriating. Especially connecting lines. Almost impossible to do a free-form org chart.

Erin's LucidChart Review
What do you like best about the product?
I've process mapped in the past, but I just started using LucidChart, and I find it incredibly simple. The layout of the application is clear, so I find it easy to find the tools I need. I've found it incredibly easy to share documents with my co-workers and have run into no problems downloading files and uploading them into Microsoft Teams, the application I use at my organization for file sharing. I also enjoy that LucidChart has templates available to base your project off. I look forward to using it in the future for other templates and documents other than process mapping! Like I mentioned, I'm relatively new at my job so I haven't had much time to play around with it just yet aside from creating process maps for current and future processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
In all honesty, I have not observed any problems just yet with LucidChart. As I mentioned, it's easy to use and is essentially laid out the same as Excel, which is what I used in the past to process map.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidChart is helping me to establish current processes at my organization, as I am brand new and learning why we have the processes that we have. I also plan to use it in the future to create process maps of where we want our organization to go to in the future. I work for quality and safety, and it's helpful within that department.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many different templates to choose from and also drag-and-drop shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any downside at the moment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me with documenting process flow
Prompt, personalized training and easy to use platform for Lucidspark Visualization tools
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid spark is helpful for creating easy, visually comfortable flow charts and org charts of business and lab processes. This is the first visualization platform I've really used in this capacity recently, and I found it easy to work with. The interface is very user-friendly. The training for the software was also tailored to my background and experience, which I found very helpful in understanding the platform. The trainer, Francis, was very accommodating to our schedule, even though we are in very different time zones. The software walkthrough focused only on the elements that we use and would potentially need, rather than some pre-baked training that wouldn't fully apply to our use and situation. Overall, my experience in using this was very positive and the overall product is helpful to our workflow. Overall, the customer service was good and easy to contact. I'm sure if we ever run into any issues, it will be easy to reach someone for help too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I liked Lucid Spark, but I think that some of the tools could be more easily accessible/findable on the site. It would be nice to have a click and add feature in flow charts rather than just drag and drop, which would help to improve the logical flow of the flow chart steps. I do wish their were a few more lab-specific templates, but that's more of a wishlist item than anything else. I do also wish that it was a touch easier to share with colleagues on some of the charts, but it isn't all that difficult or anything either. Overall though, the software really does what it is meant to do with minimal fuss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark allows us to quickly, efficiently, and easily visualize workflows for our lab, which helps to increase our efficiency when communicating processes to new team members for the first time. We also expect to use some of the Mind Mapping products in the future as we need to. Lucidspark also allows for quick sharing with colleagues of new charts, forms, etc, though the colleagues all must have an account to access the software too. Overall, the tools to visualize workflows are helpful and allow for new team members to quickly and easily understand processes in the lab and company that they may not have understood quite as easily without the clear visualizations. I think this really does help to aid in communication for our team.
Perfect for what we needed
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is the real time collaboration. Using Lucid Spark makes sharing critical team files so much easier than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features of the interface could be streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team constantly is improving processes so whiteboarding is critical.
Lucidspark is excellent computer programming.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucidspark are the user experience and collaborative features. It's perfect for any business size, and it worked smoothly with our primary communication platform, Slack. The autosave function is lovely because it ensures that your connections are always saved. During the Program Increments, the excellent post-its helped us refine our stories. Instead of depending on in-depth email exchanges, team members could quickly and easily discuss and modify their ideas in the comments section--reducing the document's journey time and the number of times it had to be updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Lucidspark is that it took me a while to get everything set up the way I wanted because the available templates were either too dull or featured extraneous elements that would have been too time-consuming to modify or erase. There is a learning curve to getting started with Lucidspark, but fortunately, the software forgives rookie mistakes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark provides a platform for real-time project collaboration with more data and flexibility than previously shared packages. This allows for remote collaboration on drawings and schematics and gives clear instructions to staff.
