Personal use to professional have been seamless and excellent

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive the program is to use. With a multitude of templates and features, colleagues, students and I can perform mindful collaborative products without frustration.
What do you dislike about the product?
We did have some issues at first with sharing and training, the dislikes are more external. Although every so often I have an image that won't import and an arrow that just won't go where I want it, I have not encountered many problems with any of the platforms in the suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a classroom, we have been using LucidChart to brainstorm connections in larger systems. We have liked how we can move pieces around, make new connections, add different elements and continue to grow the 'chart' without constraints.

Great tool for infographics and documentation

What do you like best about the product?
I like how we have so many options for shapes and icons, and we can make our own custom shapes and use it across the enterprise. There is always a shape to capture the idea that you have.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit tricky for your enterprise to use the custom shapes that you make I wish that could be better so that once I make them and add to my library everybody can use them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool for developing general infographics for your clients and also for someone who just joined your company and wants to learn about your system or solution

Excellent tool for building functional and technical workflows for current and future state designs

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has become an invaluable tool to me as a Product Manager. By easily and quickly being able to draft product and service workflows it helps drive the conversation and helps the team identifiy requirements and possible gaps in solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is honestly nothing I can think of that I dislike about Lucid. On rare occasions, the UI is slow which can be a major pain, although this is infrequent and I can't even say for sure if this is Lucid or my own internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is great at helping to facilitate product and design discussions. It helps visualize the process and visualize each step and decision in a process. Visualizing the process makes sure that everyone understands the process or solution being discussed and enables everyone to raise questions if items are missing or that they didn't expect in a process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to use the new user learning tools!

Lucidchart is visually useful

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Lucidchart to view process workflows and organizational charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a feature where the box would automatically fit the text size rather than me adjusting down if the text is smaller than the initial box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use Lucidchart for understanding future workflows for change management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the lessons and talk meetings.

One of the best diagraming tools out there

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is one of the easiest to use diagramming tools I have ever used. It does a great job with object alignments and sizing which other applications don't do quite so well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aws shapes and icons are getting a little old, it would be great to get those refreshed with a 2022 version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use lucidchart across the company to diagram our architecture and to help others understand our internal processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I prefer this product over most other tools i've used.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really. i wish for more advanced integration features for easier collaboration. e.g. allow embed and collaboration within Notion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collaboration with teammates on business and product strategy. lucidchart has effectively minimized the time it takes to align on process and strategy

Great Tool for Process Mapping and Org Charts

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to build detailed process maps with swim lanes or import data into templates for quick creations. Easy to use and incredibly organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more import templates available for process map creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for proper process mapping between multiple cross-functional teams. This includes multiple data sources as well. The benefit is the ability to map team, process and data sourcing.

Great visual workflow for flowcharts and designs.

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The great thing about Lucidchart is the ability to access it anywhere. You do not need a high powered workstation to use it. All you need is a web browser and you are good to go.

Also, the ability to share and collab with other co-workers is great because you can leave comments and suggestions to a project.

There are also plenty of template to choose from so you are good to go!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to dislike. There is everything you need and if you want custom symbols and picture you simply just upload them to the browser.

Maybe the only thing that is not so great is the conversion of files from other programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating flowcharts that document the process flow for my company has helped greatly. Also creating job aids that incorporates pictures and symbols are a great as well.

Lucid Chart Facilitates Alignment

  • March 08, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Lucidchart to illustrate business processes through an easy-to-use drag and drop interface. I've frequently pulled up Lucid to whiteboard business processes with clients live during discovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a deeper library of iconography to use in charting. I do like that there are some specific to systems but it would be great for Lucid to have their own icon set that is system agnositic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving for lack of business process definition for clients.
