Everything you need in a diagramming tool
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of shapes is excellent. Any kind of flow you would like to create, there is a shape or system for it. My favorite feature is the ability to change a shape by simple right-clicking and choosing a different shape.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure that there is anything that I particularly dislike about the app. It's great to sandbox ideas and easy to share your designs with people. It would be cool if it suggested what you should use based on the chart you are creating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great app to rapidly prototype ideas and quickly make changes to real-life processes. I especially like that it automatically expands the canvas, which enables me to play with ideas without having to worry about formatting or structure.

How straightforward the program is to use and how I can customize my company's org charts completely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not applicable. Lucid Chart is user-friendly and easy to understand. I did not experience any issues with the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to completely customize my company's org charts. Other programs do not allow for this level of customization.
It is an amazing program and easy for anyone to use!!!

Not much it is a great program and is easy to use.

It is very simple and self-explanatory to use. There are various tooltips and descriptions provided.

What do you like best about the product?
Its versatility. It seems like almost anything that I find myself wishing for...I end up quickly discovering that it's already there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly not a whole lot. I'm not very familiar with how its pricing model compares with competitors, but feature-wise, I have no complaints at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're working on a software activity that can be quite non-linear, and we realized a traditional spreadsheet wouldn't work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a free trial so you can't lose; try it out and see if it doesn't completely blow you away.
It is a great tool to do diagramming, super user friendly! And also can be convert to other format!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is a brand new tool to me, a professor from the college of businees introduced me. I use this for data management for decision-makers class. It is straightforward to use, even for someone who doesn't have any business backgroud. I use this to draw ERD; it is an excellent tool to edit the entities and relationships, and when you need to re-arrange the location of your entities, or you need to move the relationship, the other relationships move with it at the same time. Thus, it won't hurt the rest of your diagram.
What's more, I like how you can invite your team member to the lucid chat, and they can edit at the same time. Or you can send invitations to people just review but not edit.
Meanwhile, It saves every step you do immediately so that you won't lose any of your work. I like to draw a draft first; then, I use the template that Lucidchart has to make my diagram looks prettier and more professional. After I finish my work, I can export it into whatever format I like.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only con is there is no difference if other team members make changes to the diagram. If lucid chat can give each user a different color when they make changes, that will be great. Just like the team member's name on the right upper part, they have a different color for their name initial. Then we can quickly tell who made the change and who hasn't commented. Thus there should be a button to delete the color by pressing it to submit our final version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using the lucid chart for ERD editing, which has been beneficial for this product. It is productive and saves lots of time. And hopefully it can help us get a good score.

Lucidchart has made my work life a million times easier. It is incredibly straightforward to use and has had a positive impact on the amount of work I can get done in a day.

I'll be honest; I haven't found anything in Lucidchart that I dislike. Everything is easy to use, and it provides all the templates I need, as well as valuable training on how to use those templates.

Lucidchart has helped out tremendously with tracking the growth cycle of my company's plants. Lucidchart allows everyone in my company to understand what is going on daily.

Ability to use with just a browser to create org charts & process flows

Nothing at this point. Most of my uses are fairly simple.

What do you like best about the product?
The massive amount of templates available: decreases time-to-delivery for new charts. As a developer, it's a lot like never having to deal w/ boilerplate code again.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of templates available can be thought of similar to low-code/no-code platforms, where your satisfaction is proportionate to how much of your use case is satisfied by out-of-box templates. To that end, using LucidChart for complex, non-templated diagramming is a bit tough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming of biz processes; diagramming of software data and logic flow. We're saving time through using the aforementioned templates. It's also easy to pick up, so we save on onboarding time.
