What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of tools available and easy drag and drop options. Collaborating on the same project is very convenient. It also has a lot of export options. A lot better than making flow charts in MS PowerPoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
The grid lines do not extend when I make the diagram outside the sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to make Value Stream Map and Process flow maps. This helps in identifying the bottlenecks and explaining the process during presentations.
Excellent Diagramming Software
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart strikes an outstanding balance between allowing less formal "whiteboard" diagramming but providing more strict and precise architectures when needed. I use LucidChart on every project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier is pretty limited, and $10 a month does seem high for personal usage. However, nothing else really does what LucidChart does as well! The only area I could see improvements would be adding more than 3 documents to the free tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving collaborative architectural problems, working through and demonstrating complex software issues and possible resolutions and creating a presentable artifact to share with others.
Seamless and intuitive visualisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
The tool allows you to navigate seamlessly. The help tool whilst there is almost not needed due to its intuitive design and ease of use. The variations of tools shapes and templates in Lucidchart I find allows you to visualise any possibility within your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The margin where alternative shapes and tools are displayed I would like to see on a separate popup box. This is to prevent scrolling and enables the user to widen their search when looking for that ideal shape. That being said, the search function is also very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Modern businesses throw many dichotomies at you and being able to visualise them makes it easy to convey and communicate. Personally, I use Lucidchart for org structure, process flows, decision trees and a host of other applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try using both templates and freehand, I found using both enabled me to widen my capabilities within Lucidchart.
Lucidchart is great for planning
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is a great tool that I have been using for years in marketing roles to map out my ideas, plan, document workflows, processes, etc. It is also straightforward to use; anyone can do it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure what I don't like about Lucidchart. I have been using it for years now, but I can't think of one thing at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Lucidchart for planning with our marketing team and other colleagues. The benefit I realized is an entire team can work on the chart at the same time from different computers and locations since our company is remote.
Great tool, especially for Org Charts!

The templates that were available and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to use full functionality on certain templates without paying for the top membership.

It's helped us get organized, and visibility is excellent.
Lucid Chart Diagramming Applications
What do you like best about the product?
I like the lucid chart templates that provide so many options to quick-start your essential diagrams and charts. Daily, I utilize Lucid Charts to develop process and product flow charts, create timelines, decision structures, value streams, mind mapping, root-cause, and more. I also referred other departments in my organization to utilize lucid charts for basic wire diagrams and develop high-level electrical/mechanical layouts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I suggest that Lucid Chart should add a template library of shapes as well such as engineering, design, etc in the more shapes or import your shape area. It is tedious and time consuming to find shapes that would match Lucid Chart programs requirements.

diagramming for engineering, production, process control, concept development, high-level drawings, value-streams, team-task optimization, shift optimization, PLM systems, etc
Wonderful online tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, user friendly interface, helpful online staff and clear diagrams
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate subscriptions but this one is not too bad. Would like a little more selection of shapes. Or custom shapes.

Diagraming for my company. I need to be able to show work processes to clients and this helps me do that effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
A well-crafted collection of templates with good documentation and tutorials.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't easily modify an existing template. That would get it to from a 9 to 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mapping data models and business processes. The templates help us to have a good balance between precision and user-friendliness for the info we share.

What do you like best about the product?
There's a lot to like, but the tools at my disposal--and their ease of use--are probably one of the best features of Lucidechart. They are easy to use, which means I don't have to spend too much time learning everything before jumping right into a project. I also love that multiple people can collaborate on a single project simultaneously!
What do you dislike about the product?
This is sort of a double-edged sword, but there are so many tools! I think it can be a bit easy to get lost if you don't quite know what you're looking for or have no experience with this sort of software. Still, the basic tools are easy to find and make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to collaborate more effectively among our working groups and share thoughts that would have otherwise been difficult to capture. This is particularly important for capturing processses.
Great online tool to depict business flows
What do you like best about the product?
very simple to use and learn. it has a lot of features similar to visio which i am used to, so it was easy to use it without much effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
though its quite responsive, may be a desktop version would be helpful.
