Unlock the power of Lucidspark for easier visual understanding!

  • January 06, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how the interface of LucidSpark is intuitive and streamlined. It's simple to make well-designed diagrams that look professional without spending hours perfecting them. I like the vast selection of templates, which can be easily customized to my needs in no time, even as a beginner user. Furthermore, its remarkable price-to-value ratio makes it an irresistible option for any drawing or design – from company structures to slide presentations and schematics!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had issues with Lucidspark's reliability, though proper configuration usually fixes the problem. I would appreciate improvements to streamline and refine exported charts so that arrows and lines are aligned each time perfectly. Additionally, it could be beneficial for users if there was a more prominent option within the application that allowed real-time conversations on whiteboards between two or more people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark offers a robust tool for defining murky business processes through the construction of workflows. This tool can create organizational charts and UML activity diagrams, which are beneficial in visualizing firm hierarchies and sequence modeling.

So far... a great experience!

What do you like best about the product?
I´ve been working with Lucid for about 4 months. I was used to working on MS Visio, and once I got to my new job, the transition to Lucid has been seamless and sometimes exceeded my expectations. It´s fast, helps you a lot with predictive actions, easy to use and you can accomplish a lot more in less time than with other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that exporting a design takes more steps than you think. It should be easier to export diagrams to PNG or JPEG files. Maybe a single button on a taskbar could solve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the collaborative work at the office. The fact that it allows a group of people to work on a design simultaneously is incredible. We can finish work ten times faster.

Great tool for brainstorming!

What do you like best about the product?
The interactivity of lucidspark is really helpful. Love the timer and the tools that others can use during a brainstorming session. It's really helpful to have it as part of the Lucidspark suite and not have to use a separate tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be more updated. It's a bit more clunky than a major competitor. There's lots of great tools to use, but the look and feel could be a bit more modern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping our remote team brainstorm and collaborate. For example, it can be used as a tool for restrospectives and collaborative exercises like working on our team charter.

What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy & user-friendly tool to use for software development purposes
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't copy & paste blocks which it makes it tough for users to create large diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's useful for architecture diagrams, data flows, swimlanes, and sharing it as PDF within Google Slides

What do you like best about the product?
I like that UI is pretty solid compared to other diagramming tools. It feels like a truly premium product. Also, they don't lock you into their ecosystem, you can export your diagrams into some industry-standard formats and take them to another platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I miss a proper offline mode (with a desktop app). It could be really convenient at times. Also, I think the development is pretty slow, you don't see new features often. On the other hand, it is understandable taking into account that the product is already pretty mature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I build flowcharts to augment my software development requirements documentation. This way, our entire team is aligned so miscommunications are practically eliminated.

All my ideas, published and never outdated!

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based, always available and always up to date. Plus, creating charts is so intuitive, and they look fantastic. Explaining either processes or organizations is so much fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer a more folder-like approach for saving the different charts. I work on several different projects and get a dozen invites per week to collaborate. Sometimes it's difficult not to lose track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It prevents me from mailing attachments and bothering my colleagues every time I make minor changes to the charts. With Lucidchart, everybody is looking at the most recent version.

What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward for the audience to visualize the message we want to communicate with the chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the cost and the procedure on getting access from my IT
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of length paragraph, I can show the graph and talk through the main scope

One of the best diagramming tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like the user-friendly interface for process flows and schematic diagrams. The preexisting process shapes are awesome. The connectivity of each form is very easy. Since it's browser-based, it can be shared with anyone over a link.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the quality of the exported files like PNG, JPEG. I wish the images had more pixels and were sharp and clear. Apart from these shortcomings, I think Lucidchart is a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to create process flow diagrams for my organizational processes. Lucidchart helps me visualize each step in the process flow and gives me a good overview. I also use it to read and study design schematics from the engineering teams.

Unlock creativity with Lucidspark mind mapping

What do you like best about the product?
I find LucidSpark an invaluable tool for teams looking to collaborate using a simple system. Its intuitive user interface allows me to quickly add comments or emojis/GIFs with minimal effort and export cards into JIRA tickets, providing accessible two-way communication between the two systems. The whiteboard view can then be exported into Google Presentations which is excellent for sharing ideas with both internal team members and external stakeholders alike while also being able to preserve established components of any chart via grouping, ungrouping, and locking functions enabling better structure in projects over time making organization simpler than ever before too due in part from the " draw arrows " function! Overall I love what Lucydspark has on offer, mainly when used within a collaboration setting -it's simply one of the best tools available (in my opinion).
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating between Lucidspark canvases is a tedious and frustrating experience. The minimap at the bottom of the screen is difficult to use due to its unintuitive design. I've noticed that both arrow keys and click-and-drag functions need to be fixed for me, too, making it even harder for me when I'm trying to view or present my work on larger maps. Ultimately, Lucidspark's minimap functionality fails to provide an effective way to access different parts of projects or presentations quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Lucidspark solves is the need for teams to collect and organize ideas remotely while collaborating on projects. It improves upon traditional whiteboard methods by allowing users to record, reuse and modify their data in multiple ways - giving them greater control over how they structure their content.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart's versatility is most appealing as it allows me to express my ideas accurately through a diagram. With this platform, I can create charts with different shapes and designs that people from all walks of life can easily understand. This makes creating plans and maps much more accessible while ensuring their wide acceptance simultaneously!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart's sitemap tools are limited in navigability when creating complex diagrams. The popup for its hierarchy is relatively tiny. It does not provide an immediate highlight or direct navigation to the item I want to select upon clicking on a shape within my wireframe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need an efficient way to communicate and create charts and diagrams with my team and clients. Solution: Lucidchart has enabled me to quickly generate visual aids such as mind maps, timelines, etc., allowing successful communication between myself and the people I work with.
