What do you like best about the product?
There is a template style for every project.LucidChart offers many templates for flowcharts, planning, and tracking, brainstorming, organizing people, increasing sales efficiency, account maps, developing business strategies and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there isn't anything I've run into that I dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucischart to update for diagramming and brainstorming tools. The different templates make brainstorming onboarding improvements fun!

Highly recommend Lucidchart to teams looking for tools to help diagram, plan, brainstorm. It's easy to use and helps improve efficiency.
Lucid Chart helped my orgnaization
What do you like best about the product?
I think in boxes and sticky notes so to be able to use a process to diagram this makes it easy to organize and share my ideas. I love the brainstorming sessions we use with this feature as well. It makes it very interactive, especially because most of our meetings are done from a virtual platform as well. People can visualize what we are trying to outline before rolling out a new process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little bit for me to figure out how to input the data as it comes up a little small, but the tutorials are a great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving process redesign problems. We are also solving marketing plans and outlining a great sales plan in the field to generate more business. The reps' performance has increased due to a more structured window into their world.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the solution. I am not a technical person at all, and on my first day using Lucichart, I've been able to use it on my own. So this says a lot for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I haven't played a lot with this, but one thing I noticed is that when we export in PDF, it is hard to make it fit into a readable format to send to someone else who doesn't have Lucidchart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drafter business process for our customer that help us define a clear statement of work and deliverables for our implementation project. This allows us to be all aligned and focused on clear objectives.
The Google Docs of diagramming tools
What do you like best about the product?
I'm really impressed with the domain-specific predefined shapes (ex: AWS and GCP, but then again, I'm a developer so I guess they know their target) and the ability to collaborate as seamlessly as I could on Google docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot, but if I had to nitpick at anything, it would be that the scrolling speed of modal list views like the shape library doesn't feel native on my MacBook when using the trackpad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're primarily using Lucid for domain modeling. Domain modeling is an inherently collaborative process, so my teammates and I use it at the same time while on conference calls to great effect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great product. Vizio may be slightly more mature, but if you need to collaborate, Lucid makes it seamless from any web browser.
Excellent chart building software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and intuitive it is to use, and even so there are step-by-step tutorials for all experience levels. It's a wonderful tool, important in my job of process mapping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart as it continues to improve and develop will be a vital part of our organization for years to come. All I suggest is they keep making and developing this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am inputting in complicated, not straighforward processes with multiple inputs and variables. What I am doing through that visual reference is simplifying the process to make sure unnecessary variables are removed and make sure proper steps are completed at each step of a process phase. Being able to visualize the issue means being able to address it, and thus solve it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When considering Lucidchart, the best way is to think how easy it is to create diagrams, how easy it is to share, and integrate into existing platforms.
Easy Crow's Foot Diagram
What do you like best about the product?
I needed to create a Crow's Foot diagram for a data model. Lucid Chart allowed me to do this easily. It is very easy to add and remove tables and fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Sure, there's always room for feature enhancement. For instance, it might be nice to load the table data through a csv.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to create an Entity Relationship Model (ERD). I am old school. I find ERDs to be a fundamental component for conveying software requirements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I also use Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint to make requirements diagrams. LucidChart has the best option for Crow's Feet Diagrams.

Easy to access on a mobile, laptop or desktop - you can edit anywhere and at any time.

It has all the functions I need to carry out the type of work needed.

We are using the diagrams to present our curriculum in a clear and accessible way to our wider community. It is highly customizable, which has allowed us to use images that our students and parents will recognize in relation to the subject progression in our curriculum pathways.

Great, easy-to-use diagramming software for many use cases
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart was really easy to pick up and use, since I just wanted to hop in and update some diagrams made by a past team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limits on how you can resize the viewports, which required me to do some more intense editing in a separate editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has been a great tool for solving a recent need for more visual documentation.
Incredibly Quick and Easy Flowchart Creation
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to create flowcharts and CONSORT tables using Lucid quickly. Much easier to move boxes around and ensure that the spacing is even across the diagram instead of something like Word.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only option I wish they had was to save out diagrams in a format that maintains editability and high resolution (like .emf format), but this is a particular request. Other than that, everything was great and intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we were looking to solve was creating diagrams/flowcharts quickly while maintaining a professional aesthetic. We found that using other common platforms was taking too long, was not easy to use, and did not have a refined presentation.

If you need an easy way to create diagrams or other visualizations, this platform has made that quite simple.
Professional Charting Software
What do you like best about the product?
The look of the charts is pretty. I don't find myself in want for a different look. Many charting applications have very squared-off graphics that are utilitarian and boring. You can change the background and many other colors to make your charts look great. It is effortless to connect chart objects. Overall, the interface is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find anything that I dislike. Everything I've tried to use works correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have only used the UML activity charts for a client project. I am currently completing that work and find myself more productive using this product over others I tried.
