Leaves Visio in the dust
What do you like best about the product?
Snapping, dragging, and locking features are very tight. The auto formatting function also works wonders when things start to look super messy. Don't even mess with Visio or you'll find yourself having to redraw components endlessly to get the right look and feel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much but the ability to bridge the gap with solid graphic design apps like Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business process diagrams, software system architecture, data flow, and wireframing have all become easier with using Lucidchart.
Adaptable and Great for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucidchart is easy to use and adaptable to other formats. It is possible to import a file in other formats, such as Visio, and continue to work on previously prepared diagrams or drawings. Lucidchart makes it easy to collaborate with others and share work when working as a team. There are many templates to choose from, if needed, or a user can even create their own template. I really enjoy the different customization option available and continue to find new features. Once done with a diagram or drawings, it is possible to export to multiple formats also, such as Visio, PDF, or others. I would definitely recommend someone try for a few months, which is all it takes to enjoy see the advantages of using the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first I did not know how to get shapes to not snap to grid or how to properly manipulate arrows and lines. However, after actually taking the time to play around with the program, it was pretty easy to figure these out. So, it does take some initial setting up and getting used to the features, but once a person gets a handle on those, it is like an "aha moment" and the program is incredibly easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Lucidchart for patent drawings, diagram to help represent a family of patents, representation of information in relation to intellectual property, utilizing a Gantt chart to visualize information for projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with templates to get a feel for features. Don't be wary of reviewing help topics - they are short and easy to follow.
Great tool for diagramming. Boosted our productivity.
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart achieved the combination of ease of use and functionality. The product allowed me to chart and diagram better than any other alternative that I tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I didn't notice things that I disliked about the product. I managed to do my intended diagrams with ease. I will come back to update the review if something is missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating and sharing extensive diagrams with coworkers and business partners. It made me and my team more productive. Being able to visualize complex solutions has revolutionized our work.

I'd recommend, for those considering Lucid, mapping their needs and checking if Lucid meets these criteria.
Lucid has made flowcharting simple and easy. I would definitely recommend!

I like that it is a very simple tool to use, and I was able to pick it up very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice to have an app on my desktop for Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am flowcharting processes for my client for a deliverable to them. Being able to present to my clients in flowchart form helps everyone understand the process clearly and ensures we aren't missing any steps.

It is easy to use and very intuitive, no big learning curve.

I have not found any downsides yet. All of my use has been enjoyable.

Really easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks Lucidchart to help me get my new job. I used Lucidchart to present my idea in the interview presentation session, it works really well. I like the comprehansive templates, they can always inspir me with the new ideas. I also like the the color schemes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the arrow foundction is really not easy to use. The arrow always link to the wrong plance automatically, and it takes me extra time to adjust to arrow head . This is the thing I that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Buisiness Analyst. I use Lucidchart to work out project schedule (Gantt chart, project stakeholder chart...) and workflow chart. I used to use excel sheets to track my projects, right now I find Lucidchart is much better than Excel when I use it to set up the schedule for my projects.

What do you like best about the product?
It elevates your skills as a PM or any operational leader by easily enabling you to visualize the message you are trying to convey.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be cool if you could add attachments to the individual squares in the diagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to map out process flows or track work, including task dependencies. It also allows me to communicate that work to others without having to depend on just power point slides.

an online platform that has compatible functionality with offline software, easy to share and collaborate.

It may be nice if it has more shape libraries.

Lucidchart works well
What do you like best about the product?
The software if very strait foward. It is easy to get started flow charting. I have used MS Visio in the past. Moving to Lucidchart felt quite natural and the price in comparison to Visio is a no-brainer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data integrations are not available in the individual account. You must have the team or enterprise version to get that feature. It would be nice if there were two tiers of individual accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart to pseudocode customer processes in a way that makes them easy to understand by non-technical people. It has made managing customer expectations very easy.
