Charting Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very self explanitory program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing was wrong with it - I really liked using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exploring the payment flows for new clients. The benefit of using Lucidchart is that it provides a pictorial representation of how the funds will flow.
Mostly easy to pick up for a noobie...
What do you like best about the product?
Good tutorials available online. Pretty intuitive interface and I was able to quickly create the flow chart I needed. it looks like the advanced features would be very useful for a number of applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see more up to date tutorials, some of the videos pertained to an earlier version of Lucid and some things had changed since the videos were released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a customer service-flow chart to help diagnose technical issues to escalate to a technical advisor. Allowed customer service with little technical knowledge know how to direct incoming questions to the appropriate response or technical advisor.
Easy to learn and quickly adoptable by all team members
What do you like best about the product?
It is built well for what it is advertised for. We were able to fully customize the layouts, assign tasks with ease, and create a very descriptive manual. If we were confused, it took seconds to get a hold of someone that could help.
What do you dislike about the product?
For what we needed it for, it all worked well so we did not experience any direct downsides. If you are using a free account, you are extremely limited to what you can and can't do making it less appealing for me to consider a subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using it to develop a layout for an assembly manual. Lucidchart made it simple to create sections, move pages and texts around, and assign tasks more clearly over google pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lucidchart has been an easy-to-use platform. If you need it, it's going to be useful and make managing your project much easier.
Great Experience and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is easy to use and less "finicky" I have always used Visio, so was not sure how Lucid Charts would be but it's so easy and better transition
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's the fact that you can't have more than 2 "shapes in use" pinned at any one time

A bit early to tell, but very useful so far.
What do you like best about the product?
I've only had Lucidchard for one week so I am not in a position to talk about all that it can do. I've been using it to set up org charts and while there weren't any instructions as to how to do that, the process was fairly intuitive. I'm sure there are shortcuts that could have made the job easier and I imagine I will over time learn them, but for now, Lucidchart has been very useful for the one function that I required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like some simple step by step tutorials (written) that takes people the most basic functions for which they may use Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None so far.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask for a two week trial. One week is a bit too short to really get to learn it if in fact you have other things to tend to in your work.
Lucidchart is Perfect for Org Charts
What do you like best about the product?
I used Lucidchart for our company's org chart. Being able to take our employee info database and configure it for import into Lucidchart really expedited the whole process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little tricky to make manual changes that don't necessarily jive with the imported database. For example, we had one area where the reporting structure, lacked a Tier II manager for half of the department's employees. I was able to fudge this one with a Photoshop edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and maintaining an org chart using a database expedites the entire process and makes updates and keeping things consistent, easy.
Very convenient software to work with the team
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using this software for being able to create our workflows together and some other diagrams that help us to understand how we are going to proceed with a new application. The best thing is that you know where the other person is looking at with his pointer and that you can work at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that sometimes it is not easy to find the tools you want for creating your schemas, and also, it would be helpful to save your final design of the box as a new option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very convenient for the team to save the documents in different folders to have them organized. So then, we can have maps of the infrastructure or schemas, APIs, or domains.
Convenient, Intuitive Controls
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is very easy to pick up and start using right away - their free tier is pretty generous too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit cumbersome choosing when resizing or selecting a directional arrow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping our email flows and user journeys with Lucidchart has been really easy to do. Having visuals for this is huge.

I love how easy it is to create a flow chart to demonstrate a process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I dislike. There are so many options to choose from, which can sometimes be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed flow charts to be able to demonstrate a process, and I was able to easily create one and share it with others to help with their training.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplistic and logical layout. Easy to get started without reading user guides.

Not having the ability to control arrow lengths with data input.

process flow diagrams. useful for getting everyone on the same page.

a good solution for developing simple process flow diagrams. little training required to get up and running with the software.
