Super-convenient web-based diagramming tool
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is web-based, no need to install. Diagrams are easy and intuitive, anyone can get started with it right away. In addition, the UI just looks nice and the resulting diagrams are prettier than that of other competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's on the expensive side, especially for someone who only needs to make a diagram once in a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is very versatile. I use it for product design, user stories, company operations, and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's definitely one of the best diagramming tools I've used. Lucidchart will save you a lot of time if you're under time constraints. However, I wish there were better pricing options.
Fast, scalable, contextual diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I like the templates and labeled components in those templates. I especially like the anchored connections between components so when I move them, everything scales and stays connected & coherent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid has easy & relevant templates for all disciplines, including mine (user experience design). I love the components and inspectors that make it easy to make diagrams. And the anchored connectors between components is excellent 🙌
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid simplifies narratives, and long task sequences – whether discrete or contiguous, Lucid makes it easy to visualize individual pieces, steps, and measurable actions for anything I need to explain before I design it.
Easy to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Navigation is simple and valuable. A variety of options are available. All the things are placed perfectly. One thing which I like the most is documents can be shared quickly and accessible from anywhere. Templates are unique. You can find it helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Mainly I didn't find anything that I don't like as such. But I believe more options for colors can be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Process engineer, so I use it for building processes with a lot of details. I find it helpful to make each step distinguish from others. I use different shapes and sizes of boxes to put information.
Easy and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart allows sharing folders with teams - this is great for collaboration and sharing your work! I can't forget to mention all of the provided templates!
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, I don't know if I've really found anything that I dislike. From what I can tell, everything works correctly, and I don't see anything to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using LucidChart, my team can document vital current and future state business processes and maintain a consistent source of truth about our solution design.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It s easy to use and share processes with colleagues

It requires licenses to view charts made by others, even if you don't need to edit

Nothing different than with visio.

Big library of assets and easy to use. I like that I can use it anywhere but also export my projects to my local device.

I am not sure, I have not used enough of these products to make a good critique of this product.

Perfect for all your chart needs
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is my favorite software to create charts and graphs. It is extremely user friendly and easy to edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some getting used to in the beginning, but after about 30 minutes on the software I got the hang of it!

Lucidchart is allowing our team to easily explain complex ideas using a visual format

Many templates for users makes it easy to get started

It has many things that a free one like app.diagram has but costly.

Easy to use software
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is for Lucidchart to create connections between shapes which then lets you immediately select a new shape to connect to. It is definitely easier to use than Microsoft Visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many things that I dislike or feel are missing in Lucidchart. I have not figured out yet how to show lines "jumping" over otherlines when they cross. I would assume this feature exists, but I have not yet found how to do it yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am typically doing a high-level overview of a planned feature or a planned workflow with Lucidchart. I have rarely needed it for anything demanding. It has sped up my workflow in this regard for sure.
Swiss knife for diagraming
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use with many templates and import/export other formats. Lucidchart makes it easy to collaborate with others. No need to download any siftware. Everything happens in the browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could not honestly find anything to complain about up to now. Everything works as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me show architecture in my mind for the new design easily.
