Great Solution - Perfect tool to illustrate flows and diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to create EXACTLY what I need, the tool makes it easy to design the diagrams I need for my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm relatively new to this type of tool, almost TOO many features for a new user. I think for a lot of my uses, I would be OK with a simplified "light" version with less functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm primarily using it to diagram flowcharts, workflows, org hierarchy, etc. It allows significantly more freedom of design and flexibility than trying to do the same in word/excel/power point.

The modularity of the components allows you to move freely multiple objects simultaneously, saving you time.

I would like to link more objects together.

What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to generate diagrams to explain to the rest of the team our internal architecture and how things are working. Now it is almost mandatory to include one of those diagrams if we want to add a new feature or to change the internal architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have so many diagrams that we need to improve how we classify them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been beneficial to identify the data flow in our processes, using a combination of colors and shapes that make it easy to follow. Now we can explain the new joiners everything in a glance.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is just smart...the way you control things as small as arrow layout makes you wonder why other applications do not work this way. If you want the cleanest and most sophisticated way to chart and diagram, look no further.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to dislike anything about the software; it just works; it does what you want, how you want it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to chart process flow for applications development; this software does exactly that...dynamically linking multiple pages is terrific!
Definitely the best when it comes to chart for everything, made my life easier.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, drag and drop mechanism, lots of options to be made with the shapes and other template such as organization chart template, sales template which is easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium does feel a little bit steep for me, maybe you can drop a little bit especially for someone outside of US since the exchange currency is quite high for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing a process flow for the medical plans chart! Making the workflow faster and easier to understand of how things work, yes performance is definitely getting high.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asking for your corporation to get this, especially for the sales team, will make life easier with just drag and drop!
The best way to draw out any process easily, clearly and quickly!
What do you like best about the product?
It's so intuitive to use. In minutes I can draw out a technical process without needing to constantly select elements and repeatedly drop them onto the canvas. Far less clunky than Visio, for example.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quick color formatting would be helpful. For example, if shapes could be assigned a color at the start, it would save time. Often I find myself finishing an extended chart and needing to apply colors afterward for clarity. I appreciate one can achieve this by just highlighting shapes, but auto-coloring would be more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any business requirement that requires some complexity makes more sense when drawn out clearly. Effective collaboration is more accessible when individuals can quickly visualize a process and provide insights into specific elements. It makes for more comprehensive documentation that is much easier to abosrb.

Give it a try, you've got nothing to lose and all the time in the world save!

I love how I can design so many different professional looking charts with just one tool.

It can be a bit too much at first use but you will get the hang of it.

Instead of having to use different programs for different charts it all lives under Lucidchart now.

What do you like best about the product?
Great templates which are very intuitive, easy to pick up and use - easily adapted. The import and export functions are precise; I love the crop to content which makes my documents look perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike about LUCIDCART, everything works as it should; I haven't experienced any gaps in functionality at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LUCIDCHART mainly for diagramming process mapping, and by working through these documented processes with colleagues, I have been able to clearly show points of concern and confusion to enable the re-development of critical areas.

Simple and easy to use easy sign-up process; the free trial to try before you commit is excellent.
