Great for diagramming especially org charts
What do you like best about the product?
I've used other diagramming tools in the past but started using Lucidchart based on other team members using it and found it to be the best solution for creating org charts. Once you get the hang of how to do it, it provides greater functionality than any other diagramming tool out there for this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slight learning curve to understand how to use it for creating org charts, notably modifying the examples. If there could be a help wizard at the beginning to show that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laying out standard operating procedures and processes for our company as we continue to grow and help it scale to meet our business needs. Lucid is helping making diagrams, flowcharts, etc. to help with this.
Lucid Chart
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is how easy it is to drag and drop different fields, how easy it is to connect boxes, add side notes, etc to the diagram. Also the export feature fits my need perfectly sometimes I just need everything exported as a JPG and others i need everything as a PDF
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps I need to play around with it more but I want to customize the charts heavily with logos and perhaps down the line upload my own fields. I havent gotten around to trying this out myself though and seeing if that function is availble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Lucid Chart to creat Org Charts for training purposes. It helps visualize processes and structures and is a very effective aid both on paper and during presentations

We love the collaboration portion of diagraming because we can see newest changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the login. It took too long to view the chart.

Review on LucidSpark
What do you like best about the product?
LucidSpark is clever in that it can link boxes-to-boxes with an intelligent arrow system that will not overlap each other. They can customize many settings such as privacy settings, control, and manage who can edit, view, or give comments within the sheet. The fact that it is a collaborative tool that can be accessed by anyone anywhere makes it a powerful tool as well. I like the history feature where you can take the past work and copy that to create a new workflow from that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The container does not have the flexibility to adjust its width of it. When trying to change the height and width independately, it cannot do so. There were too many settings all over the place, and it is hard to remember where each button did. For example, I wanted the default shapes and arrows, and I wasn't sure where it was nested under in the more shapes section. Also, the pinning the shapes option was confusing, after pinning it, I cant seem to find it in the side left bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to solve the workflow of the Procurement team, which includes the process flow when the customer purchases software until payment is made by the Accounts Payable team.
Lucidchart is ideal in an Agile environment, and very user friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspects of Lucidchart are the diagramming templates, ease of use, and integration with Confluence. The predesigned templates provide a library with numerous diagramming options, which saved a lot of design time upfront. The library is also very extensive, with multiple options for business process flows using BPMN, UML, etc., user interface design, enterprise architecture, etc., consistent with Best Practices. This application is also ideal in an Agile environment, as it integrates with Confluence seamlessly. I am a huge fan of this tool and will continue using it, and recommending it throughout my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I cannot think of any downsides at the current moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, Lucidchart helps to align expectations across groups. I use the template library to select a process flow that meets my needs, tailor it to my needs, and then present across groups as a tool to supplement and drive discussion. Diagramming is a great way to communicate visually across different business units.
Dynamic flow charts FTW
What do you like best about the product?
Although it can take a hot minute to figure out how to use Lucidchart, once you get the hang of it, you'll never use anything else. The amount of tools and options at your disposal makes for some crazy awesome flow charts. And if you get stuck, the tutorials are close at hand to get you out of any sticky situation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did find Lucidchart a little overwhelming at first—all those tools will do that to a person. And sometimes, I wanted the right-click menu to offer me a few more options. But other than a slightly steep learning curve, there isn't much I dislike about it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Lucidchart to create basic flow charts the design team can then turn into beautifully designed pieces, including display walls at conventions. It's also handy for creating shareable flow charts and infographics for a brand. If you're planning a chatbot feature on a site, for sure use Lucidchart to diagram the flow.
Excellent, flexible tool for creating diagrams and wireframes
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has a wealth of templates that allow me to get started quickly, and a vast library of shapes to build out diagrams and product wireframes with minimal effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times while creating a wireframe that Lucidchart makes it a bit too easy to add flowchart-style arrows, but they are quick enough to remove once they have been accidentally inserted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Lucidchart both to create flowchart diagrams and product wireframes. It's handy being able to share and collaborate on these with other members of my team.
Easy to and fun to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I found this tool extremely user-friendly and fun to use. Flow charts aren't necessarily something I wake up in the morning excited about BUT this tool made it a lot less daunting of a task for a recent project I needed to put together. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly didn't find anything I didn't like. This tool seems to cover it all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to put together an extensive workflow to map out some changes in processes we're working on as we look to change up our tech stack. This tool allowed us to create a very visual representation of the benefits we're looking to see from these changes.

I love the short and to-the-point video tutorials, and easy to use smart design.

In flowcharts, it can be hard to show the logic complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving communication; process flowcharts communicate processes and potential problems in a way that management can understand. Lucidchart can turn a complicated procedure into a simple to understand visual that allows management to understand the overall scope of the process and issues associated with it. Benefits have included cost reduction and time allocation.
Detailed Documents using Lucidchart Tools
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very intuitive design and helps take the work out of making a diagram of any nature look professional. Makes getting things done quick and easy. That's always a great bonus!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I've yet to come across anything I do. When I notice there's something that's not working, it tends to be because I don't know that shortcut yet. The find feature as well as the Lucidchart tutorial videos have been immensely helpful for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating flowcharts to serve as a blueprint for things we will be developing. Will the various presentation formats, I'm able to clearly convey concepts that may have taken much longer on paper. Plus, Lucidchart makes it much easier to edit and update.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very seamless design. It's easy to learn. Takes the extra time out of creating projects that are visually appealing.
