Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to move org boxes with ease and saves the work automatically
What do you dislike about the product?
at times was too sensitive where it duplicates and/or added org boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to be printing org charts anymore. Every time there is a change you just process and saves automatically. It saves so much time and paper. Love that is digital and can keep the data to go back to it if need to be.
User friendly and eye catching

What do you dislike about the product?
ask me to upgrade when I was creating diagrams in the middle. didn't give me notice before

Processes flow diagram
Strong tool for visual diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
massive libraries of starter diagrams, toolkits, guides, etc. Robust set of shapes. Easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
learning curve took at bit, esp coming from using another competing toolset. Took some adjustment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visual diagramming process flows, data-engineering pipelines, and technical schematics. Diagrams get people on the same page
Recommendations to others considering the product:
excellent tool
Great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart makes it easy to collaborate with peers on process maps and flow charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to using Lucidchart is the resource constraints it holds on your computer.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lucidchart is a great tool - I would recommend ensuring it's the right tool for you.
I use Lucidchart daily and prefer it to visio, however, I find the load performance can be slow
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Lucidchart is intuitive. I appreciate the publish functionality that allows you to share a live, view-only web-based version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience intermittent yet significant performance issues when trying to load Lucidchart. This has impacted my work and I would like to understand how to improve this going forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In-time review of process maps/diagrams using the publish functional allows the team to work collectively online without having to all use or be familiar with Lucidchart.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can, take advantage of the LinkedIn learning course for Lucidchart. It provides useful tips and will set you on your way to creating workflows, diagrams, and all other types of charts.
How and Why Lucidchart rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
It is control-oriented and NOT convenience-oriented.
I have been a designer since 1985 and I have seen a lot of bad design tools come and go.
I am grateful that Lucidchart focuses on allowing the user to have the right amount of control (the Adobe model).
Most of the bad design software try to make things easy on the user and take away design decisions (the Microsoft model).

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to the control like when I move a box that is joined to another the line connecting leaps to another part of the page.
I do not have the color control that I want
I would love keyboard control (up and down arrows with [shift] = x10) adjusting HSB colors
(There was a recent change in the default colors that I cannot get back. This is not a problem, but I have to juggle to use the pallet that I had created based on the old defaults.)
There may be more things that I dislike but mostly, I am self-taught and have not used any of the training so I assert that there are workarounds that I do not yet know.

I am now a Business Process Improvement Analyst for a Solar company. We are defining our workflows to upgrade our growth. I use Lucidchart to bypass the granular and overcome the siloed nature of the companies departments.
A good clean flowchart provides clarity to teams. With clarity a shared vision becomes accessable.

I found Lucid improved a lot on the last years
What do you like best about the product?
It works very well, just a few times I found it down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Design of "forms" and tools could be more stylist
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to generate shared understanding between different people.
Design anything
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart let's me get the critical components of my businesses designed quickly and effectively. Whether I'm building an app, a process, or trying to articulate an idea to others, I find the tool can accomplish any of these tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I would rather have the speed the speed of simply diagramming as code. However there are a couple ways to inject plantuml into Lucidchart to get around this limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an entrepreneur my use cases range from articulating a business process, to collaborating with my engineering team around our cloud hosting requirements, to putting together customer or investor facing documentation.
Lucid Chart is flexible enough for all types of diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use so many different shapes and templates that are customizable to your use case. It is really easy to use and share with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know there is a feature around dynamic lines that move with the shape but it is not turned on by default. I don't remember to do it while I am building a diagram and it frustrates me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to map DNA matches in my genealogy business. Being able to build a family tree that has only the people I want has helped me to solve issues for clients who are looking for their birth parents. It creates a simple visual where tools like Ancestry.com can't do the same thing. It makes it easier to explain the process and the results to clients when there is a complex amount of DNA matches. I also use it with my Tech clients to map new system processes simply.
Lucid is my daily tool for graphical representation
