There is a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly the platform is. I can drag and drop everything very easily. So much of the formatting is done automatically too which helps me save a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I use Lucidchart, I almost always am using arrows. The arrows are such a great and important feature but I've grown very frustrated with them sometimes. They don't always listen to me and sometimes they pop up when I don't need them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working on a project where I have to blueprint everything before actually entering them into Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We don't have all the data, so we can't mock these automations and journeys in Marketing Cloud, thus Lucidchart has been very helpful.

Take some time to learn the platform!

Not enough features to map the process in detail. Sluggish.

highly collaboration. Real time team collaboration get the work done with virtual team.

For collaboration, the LucidChart is better compared to MS Visio.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart helps my team visualize what's normally hard to communicate verbally or in words.The UI is pretty simple to use and there's not a steep learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connectors don't bend / flex the way that I'd like them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're diagraming code flow and architectural design. It's very easy to depict how a system will look like and what conditions / branches are in play. We're able to look at things from a higher level.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has a great selection of templates to get you started and a great selection of shapes as well as the ability to add your own shapes. It's much easier to use than the alternatives and it's built from the ground up to an easy-to-use collaborative too.
What do you dislike about the product?
More granular permissions would be great and the ability to get notifications when files you shared are reshared. The ability to directly export drawings into other tools would really add to the ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not just about creating diagrams and flows, it's about the ability to create a picture that tells the story when you aren't there to do so. LucidChart has allowed us to build detailed architectural diagrams and data flow diagrams of complex systems and make them available in an easy way that lets everyone participate.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual it creates to explain a workflow, who does what and when etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Directing some of the arrows to link one item to another is confusing and a bit frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, the visual display clarifies the work for employees we're training. Being able to share among teammates is a plus, too.

I'm not aware of similar products that can do as much.

What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop. Easy to work with. Ability to download as PDF.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more standard shapes, such as a repeating cycle (circle with 2 arrows)

No problems. Ease of making flowcharts & business process diagrams

What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other platforms, Lucidchart is simply the most refined experience with the richest feature set.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to say, perhaps additional export options, particularly for enabling notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scoping out a project or even approach to a problem allows my thinking to be solidified and viewable so people can challenge or give additional ideas.
My experience with LucidChart
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of using LucidChart. Like how simple to use diagrams and arrows how easy to connect entities. I also like how my team uses it. For architectures, it's very useful tool
What do you dislike about the product?
I probably dislike the style of diagrams, I would like to have different styles, to use polished design, Apple-like refined elements e.t.c. Nowadays it's mostly schematic, but it would be nice to have something eye-pleasant :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am the front-end lead, and I have several projects I use Lucidchart for. First of all, I use it for architecture, planning, schemes, and inter-teams communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My first intention was that Lucidchart was overcomplicated, but it was the only first intention. Honestly, from the second attempt, it was revealed as a fully-fledged tool that helped my team and me.
Great tool for Diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use shapes & arrows. Able to input and output diagrams to other sources easily. Saves revision history so if you make a mistake/ accidentally delete the sheet you can recover it instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The majority of features are only available if you pay for the Pro, including keyboard shortcuts. It will prevent you from completing work if you are using the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making a very large and detailed organization chart to show complex hierarchy relations in the company. Using it in the AGM & in Orientation for staff to understand how we work.
