Lucidchart - For Beginners

  • August 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Out of all of the programs I've used to create flow charts and presentations, Lucidchart has been the easiest and has provided the best options for me to make clean and easy visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Google slides presentation is not the greatest. If you want to present or create a slide show it's easier to just covert to a pdf and walk them through your flow charts, or just hit the present button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that I've solved is how to create flow charts, or concepts of processes that need visualizations. The benefits were that after the initial viewing of my flow charts or timelines it was super easy to make edits and share the updated versions to anyone on my team in real time.

Great tool for wireframing / prototyping

  • August 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and friendly UI to create low fidelity wireframes and for prototyping. Also great for putting together product roadmaps/strategies and flowcharts
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like an updated set of icons / tools. Some of the other prototyping software I have used in the past has a lot more variety of icons available to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping user journeys and flows with the use of the flowchart to present ideas to the broader team

What do you like best about the product?
Integration - This is Lucidcharts strongest part for me. It integrates with practically all of the software tools I use in the office. For example, Lucidcharts integration with Google Drive makes it easy to share my wireframes and flow diagrams with my team mates without complexities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart doesn't provide enough templates and icons in its library. This has limited me, especially when working on complex flowchart or wireframes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart for creating flowcharts and wireframe architectures for software projects in my organization. Lucidchart collaborative features makes it easy for me to work remotely I n real time with my work peers , on important wireframes and flowcharts.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart enables our team to build out workflows for essentially every hypothesis we have. We use it to map out campaigns, create workflows for outreach sequences, and invite other team members to collaborate remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! Lucidchart is a game-changer and allows us to see potential missteps from the outset.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to map out campaigns, create workflows for outreach sequences, and invite other team members to collaborate remotely.

impressive and very versatile tool

What do you like best about the product?
you can work on anything you want with this tool, diagrams, schematics, charts, brainstorming sessions (though Lucid spark es best for this), there are templates for almost anything you could imagine, and if that is not enough, you can always start from scratch with a blank canvas, the tools available will enable you to get your goal
What do you dislike about the product?
the free (essential subscription) is minimal, teases you with all the wonders that you can imagine though it will prompt you very quickly to upgrade the package
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
creating diagrams is much more exciting and easy with this tool, taking notes from collaborative sessions is much easier, and crafting a new template is an excellent activity with all the tools available
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the tool if you are lucky to have access to a business license with all the options available even better, navigate the options, play with the templates and try to set up a session with few colleagues

Good platform for virtual collaboration

  • July 26, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark is easy to use and doesn't need login when used in meetings or virtual bigroom sessions. We can create our own templates for different sessions and develope them as we go. In ad-hoc sessions, you can take a blank canvas and start working from there by pasting virutally anything to the canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike comes into my mind right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In large scale project (1B€) we have to work with different shareholders in the project and in multidicipline teams. Lucispark offers us an platform for brainstorming, problem solving and last planner scheduling.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick to learn and simple to use. If you don't know the Search is amazing and the guides are simple and on point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to integrate better, the Jira integration is good but still needs more ... but I know ow you've done great stuff in 2020/2021!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly getting a shared understanding quickly of the work and then sharing and iterating.

Full of good UX, nice features and the potential to make every project work

  • July 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a new user, you are quickly able to use the tool to its full potential, as it is not only user-friendly and thus self-explanatory, but also helps you with tutorials in many places if you have questions (which I actually never had to use). The range of possibilities is very large, from wireframe to flow diagrams you can implement everything quickly and intuitively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Presentation Mode could be extended and sometimes there is the problem that individual lines do not scale or move well. However, this is primarily a matter of practice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are implementing different projects with Lucid, from internal business process visualization to planning architectural designs of our knowledge base. But above all, Lucid is at the heart of collaboration, as a whiteboard and visualization tool. We can exchange better and ideas are thus found and recorded better and faster.

The next best Whiteboarding tool

What do you like best about the product?
The product interface is my favorite thing about Lucidspark. It's very friendly to simply look at and use. I can easily find everything I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some basic features missing, like audio chat. But what I realized with Lucid is that they're adding so many features to the product, and quickly. The product is kinda of newer compared to competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration and brainstorming. We realized that team members are more engaged.
