Building workflows was never easier.

  • February 11, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a BA, my main usages are Basic Flowcharts and UI Mockups, and both are easy to use and the 'Layers' makes it easy to build something interactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The workflow theme when applied gets applied across all work tabs, if it can be configured at each work tab/worksheet level that could help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualization of workflows and helping developers understand process flows in a simple manner

Comprehensive, reasonably priced and easy to use

  • February 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Comprehensive shapes and notations, easy and intuitive to use, helpful templates and a range of additional features such as org charts which are often lacking in equivalent applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality of swimlanes / pools is not as strong or flexible to use as other applications, and there is no ability to set certain groups of commonly used shapes to appear in each diagram. A minor point, but gateway and decision shapes do not contain their text, and instead appear beneath the shape, which often cuts off connector labels or the next shape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being an online tool, Lucidchart removes the need for software installation and allows easy sharing of flows with stakeholders, in a range of formats, and in a clean and modern appearance.

The best diagramming tool in the space

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has been my go-to for diagramming for a couple of years now. It's web-based, easy to use, and there's good integration with other tools like Confluence. It also makes it easy to collaborate with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that it will stop updating the view correctly in Firefox; it would be nice to see a bit better QA in other browsers. However, just reloading the page fixes it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Lucidchart extensively for architecture diagrams and process diagrams, and it's helped me easily communicate ideas with my coworkers. It has made it easier to quickly iterate on designs when working with others.

I can create my cloud architecture with lucidchart easily

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can use already created templates for example aws, azure, kubernetes and i can edit those for my architectures. So I dont waste more time for my cloud diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I cant find templates like Jenkins, Terraform or Ansible. Maybe you could add those templates and icons for your library. Because these devops tools needs architecture diagrams also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For cloud diagrams sometimes i cant find required icons like load balancer, EC2 logo, kubernetes node etc. On Lucidchart these icons already presented. And also Lucidchart usings is easier than other diagram tools like PowerPoint etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are working in Cloud world, you also need cloud diagrams and Lucidchart is a good option for creating cloud diagrams. Before Lucidchart, I was use PowerPoint but I am generally faced with icon issue. On Lucidchart this problem fixed and you know in cloud world representation is very importont via icons.

One of the best diagraming tool

What do you like best about the product?
As one of the leading diagramming tools, I love using it for my day-to-day design. The best of best about Lucidchart is there are plenty of templates available for various purposes. At the same time, Lucidchart provides a clean user interface and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a diagramming tool, Lucidchart nails all the features. So there is nothing much to complain about the product features. The only thing is when I share the documents with nonpremium licensed users, they are finding limitations on collaborating on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At our organization, I work with the software development engineering team where we deal with a lot of design works throughout the project. So we use Lucidchart as the primary diagramming tool for our product design, development, business flow swim lanes, and project planning. with the help of Lucidchart, we were able to increase our productivity by accelerating the efficiency of collaboration. at the same time we were able to come up with precise & high quality documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would be very comfortable recommending Lucidchart for anyone who is in the design, development, and engineering domains. The advantages it brings in terms of the user experience, productivity, and collaboration are definitely worth it for the investment.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to Use.
Built-in Templates.
Export in different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you drag and drop an image and try to point an arrow from its center, it's difficult. We need something like a FrameLayout, in which you can stack the components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using it for creating C4-Diagrams. Built-in templates helps me to start with it easily.

What do you like best about the product?
For a new user, the UI is very straightforward. The use of drag and drop to build a workflow is very efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Again, a new user, but it seems difficult to save locally and share with co-workers (or external personnel) who do not have access to Luicd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid allows us to articulate the workflow visually and facilitate our understanding of their process.
