Amazing tool
What do you like best about the product?
How easy is make ERD diagrams and show share with the rest of the team, very useful
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to add data type of tables in ERD Diagrams

Initially, I did not have any experience with this tool.
What do you like best about the product?
It was very intuitive. So much so that I could figure out how to create business process maps in my first sitting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't accessible to auto-align maps in the same fashion as MS Visio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are merely documenting our current processes in an illustrative format. You have a lot of tools that enable me to create easy-to-see business process maps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just jump into it and start playing around with the tool. It's the best way to learn. I also looked up Youtube videos on how to do certain things.
Great cloud-based software for creating beautiful diagrams of any type
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has been a great tool in our arsenal for creating network diagrams. It is super easy to use and there are many built-in icons that we can choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about Lucidchart. We are using the business license but I would be happy to see more features available in the free version. Better pricing for the personal license would also be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am part of the IT team and I use Lucidchart for creating network and cloud diagrams. We have 500 software and DevOps engineers that use it for their personal needs.
Great flexibility on editing the diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the dragging feature with drop-down options so you can quickly make or edit diagrams and flow charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are plenty of options so an untrained person may get confused. Therefore it's essential to have short training videos.

I use it for process flow charts and diagrams. It benefits the company since it makes the processes very clear and easy to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it is very intuitive and easy to use. All the shapes that I need are there. There is an ability to easily color code. The swimlanes are awesome! the export functions are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often click the wrong spots and add random arrows. It would be nice for a better (perhaps double click) feature that can straighten all the lines of the arrows (assuming it doesn't go through any boxes) if I move boxes around. Perhaps an optimizer that can re-arrange the arrows so there is less criscrossing.

I'm creating a flowchart for my business process. I use the flowcharts to get demos from IT service providers.
The right tool for diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
There are other common software tools that people can use to build flowcharts and diagrams. But who wants to spend all their time getting lines and figures to connect properly, align, or have to build shapes, figures, or groups from scratch? Or spend time rebranding templates? With Lucidchart, I was able to create what I wanted in one hour what would have taken at least 4 hours with common presentation or publishing software. Having the right tool for the job helped me meet a tight timeline without stress. It's as simple as drag and drop the shapes you want, watch connectors "snap into place," and type in the text you want where you want it, while things resize automatically. It's all on a grid which makes spacing and alignment a breeze. Sharing the file for getting feedback from others was easy. This tool was well worth the price, which was very affordable. Whether you do this kind of work a lot, or just need something handy in a pinch, you'll love having Lucidchart at your disposal.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are going to do a lot of collaboration with others, then you'll need a group license for others to fully work with the documents you create. You can export to PDF, but the editable files primarily reside in cloud storage that can only be accessed via the Lucid webpage or app. Therefore the files you create don't really feel like they completely belong to you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process flowcharts and swimlane diagrams are an amazing tool for not only understanding how we conduct business but for uncovering the opportunities for improvement that are almost always being masked by "workarounds" and extra effort being put in by our stakeholders to make the current process work. Some things only become evident when we put them on paper. When we do that, we have the ability to share, resolve, and improve the process. We save money, time. and headaches, and we can make recurring problems "go away for good."
Best diagramming tool for schema and architecture
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is an awesome diagramming tool for ER diagrams. It makes ER diagram creation, diagram organization, adding color-coding, links, context, and sharing it with colleagues easy. We can ask questions or add a comment on it. It makes our work easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is solving our purpose and making our life simpler. There is nothing to dislike about it. It's a perfect fit for our use-case

We solved the problem of the containerizing diagram and made it more readable. Easy sharing and online editing keep it up to date for all users and save time too.

Easy to begin a new diagram and get started for a new user. Very little learning curve

Compared to Visio, there are no dislikes

What do you like best about the product?
The capability it has for expanding the workspace when diagramming. You can complete those large complex processes in one go, on one page. That is just so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes, yet. It works like a charm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for process maps, wireframes, wire flow, and other diagrams. It has significantly reduce the amount of time spent on get documentation and diagrams/designs ready. Awesome tool.
Perfect for Professional diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
There are a multitude of diagram templates, which make the creation of diagrams much quicker and easier! The search feature is extremely useful if you are unsure on which type of diagram to use - the thumbnail makes for much more efficient creation!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont remember seeing an tutorial when I began using LucidChart. It was very easy to pick up but for someone new to using computers, this could have been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We as a business are currently trying to increase the level of buy-in from directors for several projects. Showing the required information through diagrams has helped us to describe our vision as well as increase the likelihood of these becoming a reality. Being able to change the diagrams on the fly quickly has allowed us to create a sense of togetherness with the board thus greatly increasing the buy-in.
