I found Lucid a great tool to work on projects.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the tool, which allows being used in different projects
What do you dislike about the product?
The organisation of the documents is not too clear to me, maybe because I´m still learning to use it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Projects like Org Design, process flow charts
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to learn as you use the tool
Fit for purpose, makes life easier
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create very impressive-looking flow- and org charts. It helps me in my day to day, and it is intuitive to integrate with the likes of Powerpoint, etc. I haven't tried any competitors as I find LucidChart precisely what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to work on understanding the constraints of the product as I'm yet to find any. I guess that will come with time, but as of now I have nothing to add or "dislike".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that it is an awesome tool to use for mind-dumping so that I can more or less download my brain and visualize how things work inside my complex way of thinking.
Good overall feature set combined with ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Built in features, chart elements and ease of use. Easier to pickup than Visio
What do you dislike about the product?
Big jump in features/cost between free and the paid option, maybe another tier would be good for light use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming for IT Architecture
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare with others to find the right fit for you
Great tool to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark is a very easy to use tool which allows for easy collaboration and pictorial representations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish to see more updated pictorial representation to be included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily I work on process flows, process designs, information management.
Lucidchart covers all the right bases
What do you like best about the product?
Controlling the location of all the little arrows, boxes, and turns is often a chore in other programs, but Lucidchart makes it easy and intuitive. The program also has a very, very large catalog of icons and shapes to use, which is excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
My only main gripe with Lucidchart is that resizing pages is sometimes tricky. I also wish the export feature was a little snappier and would allow you to center pdfs, but those aren't major concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is a Visio replacement for me. I save a lot of time compared to Visio editing, which lets me stick to making changes that matter. The price for Lucidchart is just right, even if I were only to use it a few hours a month.
First and convincing experience
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive design, the UI is easy to understand. Having used Visio in the past, I find Lucidchart much more user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. when linking a node to another with an arrow, the arrow takes an automated shape that is a bit cumbersome to modify;
2. I use a Chrome extension to display the time in various time zones I work with, but this is hiding the toolbar with +/- zoom, etc. I guess it's more a Chrome issue rather than Lucidchart though

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redesign a process using a swimlane diagram. The benefits are unknown because the diagram is yet to be validated.
Efficient & easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to use for all parts of our business - collaboration is made accessible across our team and departments
Customizable templates improve efficiency
Customizable templates improve efficiency
What do you dislike about the product?
We are unfortunately not able to separate our projects into folders, making it difficult to split our projects
Overall there isn't much that we would change to the current platform

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating structured and visual frameworks and workflows to illustrate our complex line of business - visualizing the workflow allow us to improve and streamline our processes
Good product for flow charts
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive nature of the software is valuable; examples include auto-labeling decision arrows aligning shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to create an automatic key.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are more easily able to view processes that were otherwise more complex to understand. Using Lucidchart helps to identify gaps in processes as you follow the flow.
Good for diagraming
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to make complex diagrams with a variety of shapes and share with my collaborators.
The abundance of templates is also extremely helpful: I don't have to start from scratch for any new charts.
The integration with Slack, etc makes it easy to integrate into my daily workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?
The web UI can be a little bit slow sometimes.
I wish there is a desktop app that could offer a crisper experience.

I used Lucidchart to share system architecture and data modeling with teammates.
It helped the whole team stay on the same page during the age of working remotely.

Great tool for making prototypes
What do you like best about the product?
One of the great things about Lucidchart is that it has very helpful tooltips for people who are not that experienced with UI design and just need enough knowledge to get the job done. Other companies will have single word tooltips when you hover over an icon without labels. Lucidchart often has a box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. The product has all the features that we require at the moment. Movement is a bit unintuitive, but there are also only so many combinations of buttons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is how we do our various wireframe design and workflow prototyping. The key benefit is that it is easy for people who are not explicitly technical and who are not full time technical to learn to use.
