Lucid chart helps me create any forms of diagrams for architecture.
What do you like best about the product?
Templates and lots of feature set. Plus, integrating with other apps like slack makes sharing the document much more easier. It's way easier than other competitor apps out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far. I don't find anything missing in terms of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud and enterprise applications.

I tried lucid chart for creating a mind map, it was an awesome experience.
What do you like best about the product?
I was trying to figure out tools for creating the mind map. Lucid chart made it easy for me to create it. Within 30 mins I could able to create what i wanted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial onboarding toom me some time. So I have to use some templates to understand and play with it to understand.

I like how easy Lucidchart makes it for me to conduct my day to day planning and organizing with easy to follow and use charts

Takes some getting used to at first to figure out how to properly reorganize

It is helping me planning for restructure of my team, before lucid this was way more time consuming
Great Visio Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
I purchased the iPad version, which is a great platform for working with charts. I like that it can read or save to VSDX (Visio)
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the iPad trackpad (magic keyboard) to click some content does not work with Lucidchart, but it accepts touching the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in Network Infrastructure, I wanted a tool that I could quickly create diagrams with a low learning curve and available on iPad. Lucid delivers.
A little bit of a learning curve, but great over-all!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease at which I can create network diagrams. Once you get used to the layout it is a lot more fluid than Visio and allows you to knock out what you need in a timely fashion!
What do you dislike about the product?
It does have a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to switching from Visio, but if you pay attention to the prompts and look at a few intro videos it is quick to pick up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems are just the learning curve and the walk through could be better - things could be layed out in a better fashion, but once you get used to where everything is it allows you to work more efficiently.

Watch videos online - if helps speed up the learning process.
Simple design diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Chart provides a simple interface to create a quality class and sequence diagrams. Documents are always available in the cloud for easy access and can be exported to be incorporated into other documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to slide messages in sequence diagrams without having to move both sides of the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly creating sequence diagrams.

What do you like best about the product?
I especially like the Lucid app templates and the integration capabilities. The templates providea very fast and professinal way to diagram a busness process project and allow you to easily share with other collegues for further improvements; and also export it to other presentation applications like adobe and even Ms. PowerPoint.
I used a BPMN 2.0 template to meet a tight Busines Process documntation deadline with a great presentation. BPMN intutively provided the necessary types of tasks, events and gateways that obviously wowed my client.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I experienced was the inability to work off the Internet on a project. I wish I could initiate some of my projects while out of network or even for demo purposes especially when in meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently working on a Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) project, and Lucidchart has been very instrumental in documenting the current and proposed business processes. Lucid Chart provides excellent tools to diagram and illustrate flow of events. BPMN 2.0 was especially useful in describing the elapse of time and the various types of events that were key to my project.
Effective and powerful tool to create professional diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has a very easy-to-use user interface and a useful set of widgets to create professional looking diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like all the features of the Lucidchart. Maybe there is an option to go with diagram based pricing.

I didn't face any major challenges after I upgrade my free trial

It's always good to start with paid tier which allows you to get all the features without a hassle.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the way the software is equipped to handle most types of common flowcharts, including templates for basic process flowcharts, value stream maps, up/down maps, among dozen others. It also has enough customization to make a template your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that has slowed me down is mostly regarding the UI, where for office tools I've become accustomed to the ribbon interface introduced in Microsoft Office software, and the change has me relearning some things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing various types of flowcharts, including regular process flowcharts, information flowcharts, value stream maps, and other diagraming as a support for different divisions of my organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In general, it is always recommended to evaluate a solution against your current and future needs, not buying it only because it has high acolytes, but with that said Lucidchart is a software that easily allows you to solve most of your diagramming needs without fuss or steep learning curve.
