Great web based charting experience
What do you like best about the product?
I love:
- The frequent updates
- The ability to perform web searches for pretty much any icon you can think up
- Simple, easy to use interface that makes things a breeze to figure out

What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like a minor thing, but it is frustrating that pretty much every button you click from the main page opens a new tab. I would much rather be able to right-click open a new tab if I want but be left on the same tab otherwise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using LucidChart for general workflow, process and misc diagrams in our engineering department. Being able to quickly build diagrams and share them has been a real game changer!
A Walk Through Review of Lucidchart
What do you like best about the product?
I like its effectiveness. I mean it's very effective and easy to use the functions of Lucidchart to design a diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see anything to be unsatisfactory at the moment but so far everything I did with was fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I normally use Lucidchart to draw diagrams to explain specific business processes in my documentation. In specific documentation, only your writing will not clearly communicate ideas to your readers, but you may also need diagrams to explain your ideas in specific ways. And by using Lucidchart I find it very useful because it is easy, effective, and very simple to use.
I mean anybody can use it. You don't need specialised skills like other software. That is the thing I like about Lucidchart.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice is that; Lucidchart is a great tool for diagraming or drawing charts especially when you are trying to explain a specific business process. It is very simple, effective, and easy to use anybody can use it.
A Great Way to Create Flowcharts
What do you like best about the product?
The sleek interface makes it easy for the user to create detailed flowcharts that are functional and also look good. The user is given many options to fully customize their flowcharts, with many shapes and fonts to pick from.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't have any issues using Lucidchart! It's the best tool I've used for creating flowcharts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has utilized flowcharts to illustrate some of our logic-based processes. They're all visually appealing and are helpful to look at for a refresher on things from time to time.
Super easy and organize to see project
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that the chart is easy to see and it is not all disorganized where you have to look around to find a specific section you are looking for

N/a for now, I haven't found something that I dislike about it yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, we use it to layout our project and see what stage it is. The benefits that I realize is that everyone on it can collaborate and add their input to it without disturbing the original project
Alternative for us MAC users over Visio
What do you like best about the product?
It converts Visio files directly into a working file for LucidChart! This is quite a blessing for us MAC users, so we don't get made fun of because of our OS preference. :) Windows users will always say Visio is superior, but I finally found the software that rivals Visio!
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the tools, how easy it is to use and get familiar with it. I like that there are suggestions and tools to train you or help you along the way. Most importantly, I love the ability to convert from Visio into a working LucidChart file!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have had to create diagrams for work, which makes it easy to do so and allows me to share them with the group. I have had to edit Visio files and charts others created, and I can solve both problems with one software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Primarily to those on a MAC and are not running parallels, you can still diagram like a boss with this tool. I also recommend it for anyone who wants to try anything other than Visio. It is such excellent software, one that is being worked on by experts all the time and crafted to perfection.
It was a good experience to use lucid spark for my work. Very helpful and user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to make mind maps and presentations. Very easy to share with collaborators simultaneously and get feedback on what we are producing. The auto-cropping tool at export is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything missing, but I would prefer if I could change the canvass size accordingly. So can get an idea about the size of the final product from pixels or inches. This would be helpful when using lucid spark for creating posters

Mainly problems are found when putting ideas together to create a mind map on a large scale. So Lucid spark made it feasible for many people to gather and put all the brainstorming ideas on a page

Templates from other designers helps you see what best practices are. Those best practices prepare you for what's expected and provides a roadmap for the work ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many dislikes. The software can be overwhelming with options but the handy guides walk you through the workflow and processes needed to be successful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I was solving for is documenting what we were trying to accomplish into a living artifact so we can go back show the workflow of processes within our company. It's really helpful for onboarding when trying to explain complex workflows and decision making processes.
Perfect for diagraming

The various icons that are provided that make diagramming easy.

It has a bit of a learning curve associated with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing diagramming for cybersecurity and it allows me to create templates that I can use for the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient, the learning curve is a little longer than normal, but it is well worth the time invested.

The "library" management tools are excellent. Helps me keep track of what I build and reuse content easily. All the shapes I need and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ask me to save as before I delete something or blow away x % of a document.

Communication solution architectures to customers in presentations.
The best remote collaboration tool I have ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how fluid and intuitive the experience of using lucid spark is. I actually had a client request that I use it with them in real time and even though it was the first opportunity I've had to utilize Lucid spark it came extremely easy to get a lot of work done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the program is solid the only nitpicky thing I have is if you build a big board with a lot of reference reference images sometimes the board takes a minute to load when you start sketching on top but if you load the board before your meetings there's really no problem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The client who recommended the software to me was mainly searching for user interface solutions and industrial design applications. We utilize this to quickly sketch out ideas and verify prototypes and even review final images before they went into production.
