Enjoying the ease of Lucidchart

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create a quick and easy flowchart and share with my team. Having a directory of different flowcharts and brainstorming spaces for our team that we can always go back to and check/add to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more shapes available to use, but that is minor. Lucidspark itself can be a little confusing at times and we often just use Lucidchart instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a team we are beginning to document much of our analytic workflows with Lucidchart. It makes it super easy for someone to show what the process is and share it with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out, specifically if you are in a team environment where there is a lot of collaboration. It helps keep things organized.

What do you like best about the product?
Many tools to help visualization of ideas, people can collaborate on ideas widely. We can very easily share ideas remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had issues with people getting access in the past, some people are able to easily get access and load in, while other have had some trouble. But this could potentially be user error on our part, rather than an issue with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Roadmaps and long term vision. Processes and capabilties

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive to use and has a good variety of charts and diagrams to choose from. Having templates to get you started is a good feature also.

Process Flow Diagram or Personal Organization, Lucid does the trick.

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The feature is that Lucid is available everywhere on the web. I like that I can access my charts from my phone or my computer and embed the diagrams in Confluence easily.

It is very useful that Lucid imports Visio diagrams. I'm planning to import one I have that is outdated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing disliked yet. I wish I had more opportunities to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been a Visio user for many years and, it was always problematic to find the right shape for the task. Lucid's shape library is comprehensive and, I'm sure it will keep growing. One aspect that I want to explore is connecting the diagram to a database or table to make the content dynamic. I'm not sure if this is possible.

The Visual Collaboration is a feature that I will start using in my next project. I need to collaborate with other peers and the current method could be improved. Hopefully the Lucid boards will help with the task.

I need to explore also the most recommended way to use the documents. I still think in terms of using Visio and perhaps there are other and newer ways to utilize these type of tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the tutorials. They are well made and informative.

Great tool for technology architects

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create shapes, add graphics, and make lines/connections between objects that automatically adjust when moving the objects around.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often work with clients without Lucidchart subscriptions. Exporting diagrams to alternative formats can be time consuming, and doesn't always capture the diagram properly (exports to Visio in particular).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quickly create, organize, and share good looking technology architecture diagrams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the free trial and experiment with the big library of templates.

Lucidspark feedback

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you dont have to install any third party software. Nice graphs and flowcharts, easy to use tools, allows for effective collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems i cant make the font of the charts and graphs bigger when downloading it to PDF or JPEG format. Also I wish there is a way where Lucid would provide more features in the free version to get a better feel of the full product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our Kanban, online group collaboration is an effective benefit
