Amazing tool for collaborative work
What do you like best about the product?
How teams can collaborate in one place irrespective of the size of the team and what they work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly there is very less to dislike about this products but nothing is perfect in this world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building custom software with collborative team effort and the benefit is real time strategy and planning can be done on this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a complete collaborative platform to perform your team work. This is the tool to use.
Very useful collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the ability to create a board and have our entire team access it simultaneously. Our team worked on a board during a recent meeting with about 50 individuals and it was a cool experience to everyone working at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a board gets large, it tends to slow down and experience of moving around the board and loading of images. While not unexpected, it is something to be aware of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaborate and work together is really important, and this has been a great facilitator in that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are already a user of Lucidcharts, this is a great addition for you to consider.
Best Virtual whiteboard out there!
What do you like best about the product?
I've used other virtual whiteboard systems in the past and some have a few stronger elements than Lucidspark; like specific design thinking templates and ways to collaborate that are ready-made. But where Lucidspark shines brighter is accessibility to the "common person". Not everyone has taken classes on design thinking or different ways to collaborate digitally. LucidSpark makes those experiences so easy to implement and explain to a diverse team that it really cuts down on the need to use other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much I dislike, for my team's needs LucidSpark was the answer to our collaborative needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we solve with Lucidspark are related to mind mapping what we want the customer experience to look like. the benefits are that it actually allows for better digital collaboration when all of us are working remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have and Admin with a Design Thinking/Creative innovation background you'll get way more out of Lucidspark. if you don't know what those things are but know you need to collaborate ideas with a team. still going to be a useful tool.
Map your mind on the fly!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can, as the title describes above, map your own mind on the fly while you are going through different environments, you can use this awesome tool all the time: in the middle of a meeting to map out everything that is being discussed, if you are starting a project and need to "put into paper" ideas and/or processes, and how all these can be connected. I love as well the User Interface that is super friendly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe what I would not like that much, is the fact that is "part of Lucidchart" but you need to get another license for it, I see it as a powerful tool, but maybe there should be a way to find a middle point where the 2 products can live altogether into just 1 license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems, a lot, starting from the fact that communicating using objects/drawings/illustrations is 1000 times better than only with written words (for some things) this allows us to visualize what's being discussed, also what needs to happen from point A to B, going through all the different tasks required for things to happen.
By using it you can also share one board across the globe (no kidding) with anyone that you are meeting about any type of things that you need.

Go for it! If you aren't unsure you can sign up for free and the Lucidspark team is there available to meet with you to go through your specific needs, and they'll share with you how to get things done!
Lucidspark and Working From Home
What do you like best about the product?
In the current business landscape, lucidspark and lucidchart have been great ways to communicate with team members remotely. It functions well and it's easy to use and to learn - especially coming from a product such as Vizio. It contains many features that I've used extensively and have shared with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid could have a more user-friendly UI. While it's easy to use, sometimes it isn't as easy to find the tools you need right away. There could be more universal language embedded in the program so save time explaining items to teammates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With our team creating many process maps and flowcharts on Lucidchart, even before the new Work-From-Home era, Lucidspark helps us communicate and brainstorm as though our team is still in the same setting. We benefit from quick answers and the ability to see other's work and comments right away. The inability to see team members every day in the office made for some stoppages but Lucid has helped ease the process and has made a great deal of work go smoothly ever since. The ability to brainstorm with each other in real-time is great but the ability to leave ideas there for others to come back to or to add when they're free of available helps with these uncertain times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the online tutorials. and make sure to include your team in the learning process.
Lucidspark is great for Education!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share and to collaborate with colleges on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing that I disliked; it all worked well for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to build and share projects with my students.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product.
Best digital white board experience
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Spark is as easy and intuitive as lucid chart but has a greater focus on collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a built in world map that I could apply data to. There are parts of the world in templates but not the entire world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better collaboration when trying to map out a world wide roll out. It was great having multiple people make changes all at once
Lucidspark: Swiss knife of organizational planning
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart helps me visualize process flow and organizational communication in easy to develop charts. Plus, it has a ton of resources for learning how to use it in different ways. Lucidchart is my go-to when I need to learn about a process and how to troubleshoot.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be available and I am not aware of it, but integrated learning tools as you work would be helpful to suggest other ways of working in Lucidchart in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process flow in departments, communication between departments, systemic bridges and blocks identification.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Layout and features in the application are great
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific, it is doing almost everything needed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product roadmaps
Simple or Technical - diagram and your thoughts, process, or concept collaboratively for clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease at which first-time users can quickly begin to collaborate. I also appreciate the many templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not had problems with LucidSpark. I had previously used LucidChart and found it easy and extremely useful. With everyone working from home, I have used LucidSpark as an online, collaborative whiteboard. I have previously used Microsoft Whiteboard embedded in a Teams meeting, but it sometimes failed. Since this is completely web-based, I have had very little trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a college professor who is accustomed to teaching in a classroom setting. When the shift to online occurred, I was lost without my whiteboard. I have a drawing tablet at my home office and used SmartDraw and Microsoft Whiteboard embedded in meetings or in recordings. Occasionally, those tools failed. LucidSpark has not failed as a whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a collaborative whiteboard, LucidSpark is the one! There is no special software to install or maintain; just log in and draw.
