Effortless Visual Collaboration for Complex Diagrams and Real-Time Teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is how effortlessly it brings complex information together in a clear, visual format. The drag‑and‑drop interface makes it incredibly quick to build diagrams, workflows, and technical layouts without getting bogged down in formatting. It’s also extremely useful for collaborating with colleagues being able to work on the same diagram in real time has streamlined our reviews and reduced back‑and‑forth emails. The ability to link documents, embed notes, and keep everything in one place has genuinely improved the way we plan and communicate technical work.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very effective overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the more detailed diagrams can feel slightly slow when multiple layers or large files are involved, which interrupts workflow during busy periods. At times, aligning objects or managing complex connectors requires extra manual adjustment, and it would be helpful if the smart‑alignment tools were more precise. Exporting diagrams can also lose a bit of formatting depending on the file type. Improving performance with larger diagrams and enhancing the accuracy of alignment and connector behaviour would make the experience even smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, our team often struggled to communicate complex workflows and technical processes clearly, especially when multiple stakeholders were involved. Diagrams were created in different formats, shared inconsistently, and difficult to update, which slowed down collaboration. With Lucid, we can now build clear, consistent visuals in one place and collaborate on them in real time. This has streamlined our reviews, reduced misunderstandings, and significantly improved the speed and quality of our planning and decision‑making.
Lucid offers very reliable templates for quick development of charts and decision trees
What do you like best about the product?
It is by far the easiest tool with the ability to create very visually interesting and useful charts to convey ideas and present decision trees. It is easy to export diagrams to PDFs or as images and the toolbar is right there and easy to use, and shortcut keys are exactly what you would expect them to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limit on how many shapes you can use on the free version so if you plan to use it more often like daily the you might need to get the premium.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been great for creating network maps to visualize attack paths and incident response flowcharts that are pinned to our Security Operations Center so every analyst follows the exact same technical steps during a crisis.
Incredibly customizable tool to create beautiful and cohesive charts super easy
What do you like best about the product?
Creating blocks, editing text, and customizing the visualization of charts is very intuitive. Color options are also great for organizing thoughts and information. It is super great for quick diagram building collaborations, design thinking, even just getting own ideas down because of the extensive templates and large elements library.
What do you dislike about the product?
No area of this tool that feels cluttered or overwhelming to use and I haven’t noticed any performance issue that has impacted productivity.

It has helped me significantly with brainstorming my ideas for our project execution and creating cross-functional coordination flowcharts to ensure everyone is aligned on project milestones. I am able to express project plans in a creative way to the entire organization.
Quick to drag and drop icons and easily connect them with lines to achieve fantastic diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is incredibly intuitive when it comes to building flowcharts, diagrams, and org charts. The drag-and-drop interface is smooth and it’s well designed and ideal for both solo and team use. I like the various icons it provides, I feel like there is an icon for almost anything I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t think of anything I dislike about this software all the object placements and shape connections are great and clean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for learning path creation and swimlanes diagram creation and then when I need to map out step-by-step flowcharts to show learners exactly what to do at every decision point, I can do that as well.
Great for creating flowcharts with quick shape insertion, line shaping and object snapping
What do you like best about the product?
The wide availability of pre-set templates to use is super convenient. When I know the type of diagram I want to start out they are a very good jumping-off point. The platform was so easy to understand that I didn’t even need help from others. The ease of getting the idea of a chart from my mind onto the canvas is remarkable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feature could be better at generating an icon using a composition of the pre-existing icons. However, I do see it becoming very useful as it improves over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers very creative ways to visualize data and show real-time research progress, and also helps me as a researcher to organize my ideas in a meaningful way and identify gaps and bottlenecks.
Creating diagrams and mapping any kind of process with Lucid gives the most impeccable experience
What do you like best about the product?
The shapes, icons, lines and connectors actually help make charts quickly and easily in an organized manner. The templates gives me structure when I am starting out and makes diagramming easier for me. You will rarely have to build a chart from scratch with it and it also provides all the tools one would need to make any type of chart such as options for line thickness, the snap function and a wealth of symbol libraries.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has been very helpful in client touchpoint analysis mapping every interaction to visualize their experience from booking to post-stay. The ability to link the diagrams to external data sources helps us to identify pain points and things that can be done better.
Flexible Diagramming. Great Visualizing Architecture and Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Strong diagramming capabilities and the flexibility to adapt to different needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing multiple items at the same time can be difficult. Also, the integration with tools like Jira or Slack doesn’t always work—for example, the diagrams sometimes don't load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Illustrate product and services architecture at ease - this is particularly helpful for showing cross-dependencies. In addition, we use Lucid to illustrate process flows for other teams.
