Lucidspark meets my business needs
What do you like best about the product?
In my role I create a lot of process flows. Lucidspark makes this process seamless
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it is frustrating trying to get shapes/arrows to align correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark allows for product and process flow creation and collaborative work on such flows.
Lucid is becoming the standard tool for diagraming and visual explanations.
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface and the ability to integrate custom objects and industry-standard objects such as AWS, Azure etc. These are key features that quickly become an expectation compared to other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tools are somewhat hidden; scaling objects need to open nested tools. Also, exporting seems a little complicated, especially if you want to add diagrams to documents; there appears to be a push to share the diagram instead of downloading it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to explain any complex technical architecture is massively simplified with a diagram. Tools that enable this are essential. These documents need to be updated and share often, again Lucid is great for this.
Great alternative to Visio
What do you like best about the product?
The UI was straightforward to understand, and navigating the menus was easy. I've tried other applications and found it extremely difficult compared to Lucidchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find any detailed templates for what I was doing.
I was trying to make a detailed IT architecture diagram highlighting how a particular application works.
I wanted to show how each Server\component interacts with each other, including (firewall) port numbers. So that customers can replicate the setup into their own environments.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a diagraming software so that it can help us illustrate how applications work in an complex environment and also help us troubleshoot said applications.
Good way to begin building knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
The morst helpful part of Lucidchart are the help balloons and templates for beginners. I have never had "theory" in how flowcharts work, I was just taught what to do. This feature helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I cannot integrate it into my workday without going to the site and logging in. I would love to be able to just click a desktop app and conduct business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't currently have a reliable and user-friendly way of making flowcharts that assist with beginners. Both of my technical writers have zero background in flowcharts.
Great with some tweaks
What do you like best about the product?
I love the usefulness of Lucid Chart as a dashboard for visualizing my daily processes and providing quick access to my workflow links.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools and buttons for diagramming and visual mapping could be more intuitive. For instance, it's always bothered me that adding a hyperlink to shapes is hidden under "Add Action." The first few times, I forgot where it was, and looked all around for a quick paperclip button to click on as is common in other programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It simplifies access to all my most commonly used tasks with visual quick-links that take me directly to those workflows and processes
Really Amazing charts. Horrible, slow, buggy website
What do you like best about the product?
The charts are beautiful
There are templates for different segments and types of requirements, whether it's a sales pitch, a Gannt chart, a flowchart, a Kanban board, etc.
The colors are good; the charts look modern, crisp, and eye-catching

What do you dislike about the product?
The website is horrible!
Irrespective of having super high-speed broadband, wherein all other websites open, Lucidspark falls short by Parsecs!
Pages don't load. A chart gets stuck midway.
Inserting/creating a document with a new template hangs at 90% while loading.
These are problems of the '2000s, man! Didn't expect this from you, now!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark (and Lucidchart) are solving:
1. The gap between the need for complex data visualization, and the paucity of charts to display them
They are benefitting me in this way:
1. No need to create complex charts from scratch -- working templates are available
2. Informative, colorful, eye-catching charts
3. With Premium, once can get even more complex, and layered chart templates

Quick and easy from start to finish
What do you like best about the product?
The data integration is easy and quick to set up if you are working with google drive or onedrive. Templates are a big game changer using lucidchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to lucidcharts is the cost per user when working on a team, and everyone may edit, but one person maintains the layout and structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is resolving our issue of visualizing our organization and how we process flow of information.
Easy collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate on a flow and share it externally
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited integrations to view it from elsewhere
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaborate on a complex process and help with brainstorming
Streamlined and easy to use, allowing me to go from idea to creation, faster.
What do you like best about the product?
I personally like its ease of use best along with the ability to collaborate in real-time with team members is a significant advantage. Also, the commenting and chat functions provide a platform for discussion and feedback within the tool itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucidchart is excellent for most use cases, it can sometimes lag or become less responsive when working on very large diagrams with many elements. This could be improved for a smoother user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Graduate Software Engineering student, it primarily benefits me when designing software components. It allows me to make coherent models, flow charts, and other relevant diagrams that directly impact how I implement software.
Very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I created a chart to map out three different systems for my company in a way that allows for someone who is a novice in terms of these products and created a chart that allowed for more straightforward explanations. Lucidchart was very easy to use in terms of this for me to convey my idea to new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating larger projects, this can get jumbled up and messy. Figuring out a way to make things more transparent for more significant projects would be most beneficial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assists in allowing users to easily create charts to be able to communicate ideas without clearly the use of dull schemes and layouts. This has saved me a lot of time since I usually use PowerPoint to create these charts.
