Intuitive and fun
What do you like best about the product?
I have only used it for a couple of times but Lucidspark seems to be very user friendly and easy to use. There are great options to keep participants engaged and involved in the discussion- I like the use of customised colours sticky notes! These are the little things that can really make the difference between a productive brainstorming and a fruitless one.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't noticed anything I disliked yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking at using Lucidspark as a brainstorming tool for both internal and external meetings. Online meetings are quite different to what we are used to and it seems like a good tool to get the discussion going
Simple to use, effective results
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use and has a clean interface. I can quickly created complex and simple documents and flowheets in no time at all with minimal skill. I can also have other collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text formatting is mildly cumbersome. It is dependent on internet connection. Having a desktop app would be helpful during times of internet outage, or if in an area without wifi.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow changes, getting everyone on the same page for specific protocols. I can take a team approach to document creating that helps me get things done much faster

I highly recommend this tool.
The use of lucidspark for supplemental instruction in neuroscience education
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how this gives us the ability to draw and instruct in a virtual learning environment. Virtual learning and teaching has been a challenging part of the pandemic, but lucidspark has made it more feasible. It is an amazing feature that multiple participants are able to contribute at the same time, while instructors are able to check their progress. Our students thought it was a great platform to apply the concepts they had learned in class with guidance from instructors. It is unlike any other platform I have used for online learning and is an extremely valuable resource. I appreciate that it offers the option to insert shapes and lines to create unique templates specific to certain classes. The team tools also make activities effective and fun. The containers and templates features also help to make the information very organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
With several people drawing at once, the appearance of everyones cursors can get confusing, but it may be a necessary feature. Several of my group members also received a notification that they had reached maximum number of drawings during the teaching session. There did seem to be a small lag when multiple people were drawing at the same time but it was not substantial enough to cause any problems. It may be beneficial to include a brief tutorial to familiarize individuals with the platform and how to most efficiently use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This gives us the ability to give real time explanations while drawing complex concepts in neuroscience education since we can't be in person to teach. It prevents us from having to hold up pieces of paper up to a camera screen like we did before we stared using lucidspark. Lucidspark provides a platform that allows for some return to normalcy of education. This gives us access to a necessary part of instruction that was missing with strictly online lectures. This encourages active participation during class and really gets student's attention. This mitigates confusion that cannot be solved by words alone but needs explanation through demonstration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend the use of lucidspark for any supplemental instruction to virtual learning.
A great app for international teams
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like was the option to share feedback, which helped us to improve our communication and move forward with our project. The chat option was also helpful. It felts as if we were communicating in real life. Because if that the brainstorming part of our project was done smoothly. Being able to integrate documents from other platforms is a great feature. It is a great feature and it saved us time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there are more people it was hard to navigate through the ideas each of us had shared. As other people can edit your thoughts, this resulted in some confusion in our team and we had to spet additional time discussing the changed other people in our teams had made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a project and in order to solve the problem, we were dealing with, we had to share our thought. The option to do voting helped us with the brainstorming part of our project. One of the biggest benefits of this app is the customer journey map. Each of us created one and then it was more clear to us what we had to do. Also, we were able to measure the progress we were making as a team as well as as individuals. Another key feature is the integration option. As our team was an international one, this feature helped us to share each other findings and files.
Great Diagraming Software
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is a great diagraming and mind mapping software. I have used it to create multiple company wide documents particularly seating charts, org charts, and process flows. There's a bit of a learning curve with the platform, but overall, the tool is very intuitive. There are also a lot of great tutorials that will show you useful shortcuts and keystrokes that shave valuable time off your projects. Lucidchart also has a lot of great templates that you can use to get started, rather than starting from scratch. The self-help and feature search sections are also very helpful.
I particularly like how professional the final products are and I have received multiple positive comments on the diagrams I've created for internal training documents and announcements. I compare Lucidchart to Powerpoint and Google Slides which were my default programs I previously used to create diagrams. My biggest complaint about Powerpoint/Slides is that they have a limited amount of shapes and diagrams, and everybody recognizes their stock diagrams. Using Lucidchart will help you standout from the rest. Also, in comparing them to Powerpoint and Slides, Lucidchart is much faster to use. For example, I started creating an org chart in Powerpoint and it was very tedious and laborious to make minor adjustments vs. Lucidchart. I particularly like how the lines between boxes move with the box vs. power point where you have to manually move all the lines when the boxes are moved. In the long-run, this tool will save you and your team a lot of time.
I'm a big fan of their "free-mium" cost model. You are allowed to create up to 3 documents for free which can really get you by in a pinch, but switching to a paid account is seamless and not too expensive. I also appreciate how their sales team is not to pushy or aggressive. The integrations with Slack and Google Suite also run smooth and really helps from a collaboration standpoint.
Overall, Lucidchart is a great tool and once you master it, it will up your game. I highly recommend checking it out!

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I don't really have too many complaints or issues while using the tool, but if anything, I would like a better version control system. It would also help if there was a folder system within the tool to help manage all the documents you've created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Lucidchart to create org charts, seating charts, and process documents all of which can get quite meticulous to create. Lucidchart helps simplify those tasks and has helped cut the time to create them drastically.

Lucidspark is a fantastic product
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the most flexible and diversified diagrams drawing tools in the market. You can draw any mind map, flow chart, and any other diagram you can imagine. And there hundreds of templates you can select.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fees, can the fees structure be more flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visually demonstrate our thinking. Time efficiency to draw, and flexibility to draw in according to our requirements.
Easy to use and lots of tools!
What do you like best about the product?
Moving around the text blocks is simple and quick to do. It makes it easy to make neat designs and keep everything organized. Lucidspark saves time compared to spending hours on Microsoft Word trying to organize a proper image.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see words appear above icons when you hover it to see what the icon is for. Also, exporting to Microsoft Word required me to use the snipping tool and paste in the image. A better integration would be a huge plus. Other than those two issues, I found the website to be great and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had to create a flow of activities for work. It was sloppy to do in a paragraph so I went looking for a website that would easily guide me through making a flow diagram. Lucidspark saved my reputation and time that would've been spent organizing a sloppy process elsewhere. The benefits include coming off as someone who goes above and beyond for their work and taking the time to organize information in an easy to follow way. This is also quick to do, which is even better. Different shapes are provided for decisions, conclusions, etc. and colours of the lines, boxes, and backgrounds can all be altered to fit any need. You can set margin sizes to make sure exporting the file doesn't make sizing an issue. Grid lines are provided along with pop up measurement tools to make the diagrams symmetrical.
Powerful and straightforward to use
What do you like best about the product?
It took me just 20 minutes to get started. The UI is intuitive, controls are powerful enough. The template library helps a great deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrated search never finds what you're looking for. Also quite hard to find components that are not shown for your template by default. The integrated search never finds what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting architecture of applications.
