Good for flowchart prototyping
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy interface, and good cloud integration

The ease of interface sacrifices some finer control
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's best for simple flowcharts, either for simple processes or for summaries of more complex ones. For highly detailed/custom/atypical flowcharts we'd use Vizio.
Incredible tool used for breaking down large scale processes and workflows
What do you like best about the product?
We love that we can get absolutely and totally creative with this system! We use it all across our company, from pre-sales to training to implementations and even product and engineering! It allows us to see how we break down our large scale projects into smaller measurables.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can get super granular and in the weeds on this, which can be tough to manage. It's very easy to use but also easy to get way too deep into the details and lose sight of what we're really trying to accomplish. But that's our own problem to solve for!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much better visibility into large scale projects and workflows that often slow us down when the vision isn't fully realized!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Across the entire company, we've found ways to put some action and workflow around our big ideas. This has been a truly great product to help us bring more focused momentum into our start-up!
Website Charting Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Lucidchart for mapping out several websites! I have even used it to map out folders on shared drives on our computers at work to help new employees locate different materials that they would need!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes at the moment! All I have used this for is making sitemaps and folder maps and this site has fulfilled that task completely!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! as well as helping other employees to navigate through our business website, folders etc...
Great and Powerful Chart Creation Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create visually stunning and impressive charts or diagrams relatively easily using Lucidchart. It is very user friendly and requires virtually no training or help guides to learn how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the user interface can be a tiny bit cluttered at times but this really is not that big of a deal. It may be a bit intimidating to people because there are so many different buttons and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the problem of process communication with clients. It allows me to represent complex processes with a visual diagram. This is much better than any written format.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use and simple to integrate with Google Drive.

What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative features and integration with Google applications are indispensable. It is easy to use and feature heavy even for the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Much of the functionality and save options are tied to Google. If I need to work outside of that ecosystem, there is a shift in effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Lucidchart primarily for collaboration in mapping out strategy and workflow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before investing in a paid diagraming application, try out the fee trial of Lucidchart. If you are at least a casual Google user, this application should be your go to for brainstorming and workflow.
Super tool for swimlane and flow diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to work with having lot of eye catching designs. The flow diagram can be easily shared with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particular to highlight, it just slow down sometimes if the diagram is loaded with more elements. Also I felt as the charts goes complex the response time increases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me to convert complex SIPOC (supplier, input, process, output, customer) into simple flow chats and swimlane, which makes the data more presentable and easy to understand. Also it helped me developing organization chart (of our vendors) for my team's reference to understand whom to reach out when required.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good and inexpensive product if compared to other paid available products. But if you are looking for free product then you may need to try it's trial at least.
Great for student work and projects

I love all of the neat features Lucidcharts gives. You can do a variety of projects with this software and it saves automatically in real time, so you don’t have to risk losing data.

Sometimes it takes a while to get charts and other materials in the project lined up propery

Excellent Diagrams to the order of the day
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool to create flowcharts, it allows you to share them to your team through the platform, it has several diagram options that fit your needs are the characteristics that I like most about this platform
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complex to manage the diagrams if you have many elements in it, you can accidentally move lines that you did not want to move, it should be more fluid movement to avoid obstructing the changes made in the diagrams
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can plan the planning of my work in a flowchart and share it with the rest of my work team, put forward project ideas through mental maps that help us to have a general vision of the activities we must undertake. For my team it has been very easy to visualize the lines of work through the diagrams and to do it using this platform is simply incredible
An easy way to assemble and edit flow charts

It is one of the easiest softwares that I have used, it has multiple predesigned forms, simply drag to the center of the document the image you need, the connectors and edit the texts.
In addition to being able to draw up structural organization charts, different types of diagrams and mental maps can be made.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes time to load the documents, and depending on the complexity of the document that is being developed, it hangs up (you must have a good internet connection) if you do not have a connection, you can not use this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the administrative supervision that I have at a national level, you must have a clear order of the functions, schedules and spaces where each staff is located, and depending on the rotation of the same, the organizational charts must be updated, with Lucidchart this task has been made easy . And I can share it digitally immediately with the team via web.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In addition to using it for any help to design a diagram, add the work team that collaborates in the daily tasks, associate it with the email account that is used frequently
