Customizable Diagrams with Stunning Design Options, Flawless Performance While Designing

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It comes with some very good pre-designed shapes and objects, but you can customize just about everything when creating diagrams, and I personally like how easy it is to create some amazing shades and color combinations for my designs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has worked without any issues so far, no force closes or import/export problems, all up to expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The speed with which I can build out diagrams allows me to provide visual structural aids to prospective clients very quickly and easily.

Effortless Remote Collaboration, Seamless Jira Integration

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for over three years, primarily for team collaboration, planning, capacity estimation, story breakdown, and project planning. I really appreciate the whiteboarding, story estimation, and diagramming features, which we've come to like a lot more over time. The suite's ability to surface practical templates out of the box was particularly valuable, making the initial setup easy and helping us find the best templates for our specific use case. This tool has significantly simplified collaboration for my largely remote team, allowing everyone to gather in a single place for planning, capacity estimation, and retrospectives, effectively solving problems associated with distributed collaboration. I particularly value creating stories and tasks directly within Lucid and am looking forward to using the Jira integration more extensively. Identifying dependencies and charting out project plans has become much easier, significantly benefiting our workflow. The templates and the potential for integration with tools like Jira are incredibly useful, supporting our Scrum processes and weekly life cycles seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more features around Jira integration. The current functionality feels limited and enhancing it could improve our workflow efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to facilitate remote collaboration, enabling my team to effectively engage in planning, capacity estimation, retrospectives, and project management. It helps us identify dependencies and chart project plans better, streamlining our distributed collaboration efforts.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I've found difficult about using Lucid is the lack of availability of some features with different license tiers.

Intuitive and Flexible, But Large Diagrams Can Lag

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how intuitive and flexible Lucidchart is for visualizing complex ideas. It makes it easy to build process maps, data flows, and org charts quickly while keeping everything clean and professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, large or detailed diagrams can slow down performance slightly, especially when multiple people are editing. I’d also love to see more advanced templates for business process automation and CRM integrations out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bridge communication gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders. It allows us to visually map out complex workflows, system architectures, and project plans in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand.

It's straightforward and makes the setup process quite simple and explanatory, without any difficulties, right from the start. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a client services and operations manager working across strategy, design, and live event production, I rely heavily on tools that help teams visualize complexity and move from ideas to execution quickly. The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite—spanning Lucidchart, Lucidspark, and Lucidscale—has become one of our most indispensable platforms for cross-functional work.

What I Like Most
Unified Collaboration Across Functions: Lucid allows our creative, operations, and tech teams to work in one visual environment. We can start with brainstorming in Lucidspark, move into structured process mapping in Lucidchart, and layer in architecture views via Lucidscale—all without leaving the ecosystem.
Real-Time Co-Editing: Stakeholders can edit, comment, and present simultaneously. It’s like Google Docs for diagrams, but far more powerful. This feature alone has reduced back-and-forth time by nearly half on complex event workflows.
Integration Strength: Works seamlessly with Slack, Google Workspace, and Asana. When linked with our BI LIVE project dashboards, it eliminates version control issues and improves transparency.
Data-Linked Visuals: The ability to connect diagrams to live data (especially from Google Sheets or Salesforce) has helped us visualize client deliverables dynamically and ensure accuracy in project roadmaps.
Presentation-Ready Output: Lucid diagrams and boards are polished enough for executive decks and sponsor recaps—no extra design work needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance with Large Boards: Very detailed diagrams or multi-layered canvases can lag slightly when many collaborators join at once.
Advanced Permissions: Would love to see more granular control for viewer/commenter roles on enterprise accounts.
AI Features Still Emerging: Lucid’s AI assistant is promising, but it’s not yet as context-aware as tools like Miro Assist. Still, Lucid’s roadmap looks strong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has become our visual backbone for operational planning—from event production workflows and client service blueprints to internal process documentation.
We estimate a 30–40% reduction in time spent aligning cross-departmental stakeholders.
