Easy to use and very helpful

  • August 08, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to navigate through the program and edit charts as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The settings for each shape tends to get in the way until you lock it from popping up. I also wish there was a way to download an editable version of certain charts I.E. and org chart for clients to add names above titles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can create custom pictographs for labels we need and also create Organizational charts for clients as well as other picture related exhibits that we need within our applications.

LucidChart helps make mapping easier

  • August 08, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
On the whole I think LucidChart is far easier to use that Microsoft Visio when it comes to mapping process flow. More specifically, I think that being able to grant access to some or all of the documents I am working on to other team members allows for greater collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to cut and paste using both keyboard and mouse. It's hard to get in the habit of always having to use CTL+V. It's a small thing but it can really inhibit productivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have mapped many previously unmapped processes as a team which has provided valuable insight into where we may make efficiency gains.

Simple, not as painful to use as Visio

  • August 06, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's simplicity. The fact that the joining lines don't fail like they do in Visio every time you try to connect process flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that really jumps out at me that I dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping operational process flows. Creating org charts.

What do you like best about the product?
it is very useful to describe a flow, using hotspots and layers.
What do you dislike about the product?
many times the components are not working as in the example. for example "context menu" - some rows become 'disabled', even though they are enabled in the markup.
usually refreshing the entire page solve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i'm using it for UI design for new features and applications.

An Easy-to-use and Internet-facing Diagraming Tool

  • August 05, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The perfect combination of rich-client user experience (very very fluent and friendly) and cloud storage (access from anywhere I want).
What do you dislike about the product?
I am located in Shanghai, China, so sometimes the website is a bit slow to access - not sure if that's caused by the geolocation or my own network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business logic design, architecture design and group discussion - anything we want to illustrate with a clear diagram, Lucidchart is the one we use.

Great, User-Friendly Product

  • August 04, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
-User-friendly and is easy to have other employees starting using. It doesn't really require much training even for non-tech people to get started. It makes the investment in training much easier.
-Sharing capabilities for transparency across the organization. It makes it much easier for people to work on the same collaborative document rather than having to email versions back and forth.
-Being able to build other documentation that maybe would not be what you would think would be the basis for what Lucid is meant for. Different type of marketing material even if you don't have those that can use Photoshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Lack of shortcut keys for different processes (unless I just don't know about them).
-More font choices or the ability to upload your own created or downloaded fonts to add to the font list.
-
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency across the organization for different information (i.e. org charts, process charts, internal marketing material, etc.). With a large group of people, it can be difficult to have everyone on the same page, however, having programs such as Lucid solves some of these potential issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a product that has little needed investment in training time, Lucid is great for that.

Great piece of software!

  • August 04, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease-of-use and the continued improvement of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be tough to create exactly what you picture in your head, but that's understandable!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to chart everything we need to, helps roadmap our trajectory.

Org Chart, Process Diagram, Brain Dump? It Does it All

  • August 04, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We used a number of "org chart" softwares before finding LucidChart, and they were all clunky and restrictive. LucidChart let us weave in our branding for client-facing docs, empowering our non-design team to create beautiful documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidChart constantly tweaks their layout and toolbars to make them better, but sometimes things get moved or hidden in a way that makes it tough to find that niche button (e.g. the line jump box!) I'd love a configurable toolbar that lets me pull out the buttons I use most often, or hard code my defaults to my profile so I never need to add another color. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What started as an exercise for our sales-facing documents has expanded across the business -- IT now uses the tool for wireframing and app development. Our facility teams are using it to diagram capacity based on floor layouts, and it even helped us figure out our CRM migration..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The integrations LucidChart has with GSuite, Slack, and other leading business tools make it a great bet for your team. The free version allows enough function to know whether you like the layout and the tools, and the paid version is inexpensive enough to sell to upper management. :)

Very easy to use

  • August 04, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
All the categories of charts are well defined, one can easily create a diagram with minimal effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more categories of charts samples for every category from where one can copy samples and create one for then as per requirement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just need to define the requirements visually with minimum effort, and I find the same in LucidChart.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product for charts!
