Robust tool for scheme-buildup, ideation and process visualization
What do you like best about the product?
I like Lucidchard for the variety of options and elements it offers: like block elements, dropdown menus, color schemes and templates. Also, I like available scheme templates thay can be easily transferred to something that we need at the moment. Very handy are lines that connect the elements: Lucidchart offers connection points and can help you make things to look symmetrical, which is also important in many instances.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations on the # of editable tabs (we use Education/University version), and limitations on the layout: sometimes we need to change the size of a working zone, and this affects al the elements of the diagram. Also, I could name poor integration with external graphics: sometimes importing the figs is not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to build the process workflow diagrams, and Lucidchart was one of the most useful tools so far. It allows scheme buildup, modification and export - all at once. Plus, multiple people can collaborate, which is crucial in our case.
Great tool for database design and creating workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and does all the basics you need. You can import SQL schemas and it's easy to share folders and charts, etc...
I haven't used many other tools like this, but seeing others work in things like Miro or Visio, I'm not sure it's unique. But it's what my employer has a subscription to, and I'm happy with it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting can be a pain. When you import a schema all the boxes are crammed together, it would be nice if they defaulted to some sort of spacing between them because with large DBs it is labor intensive to make it coherent.
My biggest complaint is you can't add columns to an ERD element. I made an ERD for a proposed DB, then my boss requested adding the datatype to the table entities. Instead of just reformatting the elements to have a second column, I had to drag in all new table elements with the extra column and re-enter all the field information. You can easily add new rows to an element, so it would be nice if you could add a new column just as easily.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with centralized documentation for projects. We make a folder for a project and keep all our ERDs, wireframes, flowcharts, etc... there which makes knowledge transfer much easier.

Good product, but hard to manage
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create lucidcharts. I like more than Microsoft powerpoint because it is easier to share. I also like how the parts to create a diagram are easily accessible. It would be nice to have a quick access "suggested" bar, but overall the product is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you have a lot of Lucidcharts it can be hard to manage. I don't know if folders are a feature that could be implemented but some kind of grouping would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us understand the architecture and build the products after discussions with the team. It is making us more productive and increase our performance when it comes to completing tickets.
Easy, Detailed, Collaboration and Planning
What do you like best about the product?
The sharing and collaboration features allow real-time collaboration on planning documents like UML diagrams. The zoom feature and different export options make our projects easily shareable with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a paid user, so sometimes I have to make hard choices about which documents will stay editable, but all of my old projects are still viewable. I appreciate that the software is still fully functional without a paid account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of my projects require collaboration with other team members. Lucidchart allows for that in real-time with a high-level ability to make changes and adjustments as our ideas evolve.
Lucidchart offers impressive flowcharts and diagrams

What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks a free "viewer" license which would be extremely beneficial. It also lacks advanced tools lije 3d objects and there's a steep learning curve as the UX can be a bit cluttered,
