Easy to use platform for collaborative work

What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve yet to find any serious downsides. Sometimes adjusting sizes of shapes on the board isn’t as easy as it could be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with colleagues interstate, needing ongoing communication
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Probably the most easy collaborative white board I’ve used and accounts are simple to set up and then send collab links to others
Lucidchart & Lucidspark are Great for Organization and Brainstorming!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark and Lucidchart are both easy to use and a great way to keep students, and myself, organized. The platform is user friendly for my students! They enjoy using the sticky notes and marker tools the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Lucidspark currently is the lack of integration into other platforms I already use more regularly, like Zoom. (I believe that is coming soon). It is a bit of a small annoyance to open and login to another website and then have to screen share a webpage. I can't think of any other way to make it better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidspark with students for brainstorming in group projects. This helps out with a current hybrid model of education. Remote students and in person students can collaborate more easily! I use Lucidchart for seating charts to maintain social distancing.

Take some time to play around with all of the features!
Excellent user interface and easy to use.

Not much, I suppose the arrows can sometimes be a little fiddly to get them to line up perfectly.

We use it to create sitemaps for our websites to visualise to clients how pages on there new website will flow together, clients have mentioned how helpful this is for them.

Lucid is an Innovative Tool for my Classroom
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see simultaneous inputs from all my collaborators, and when using Lucid with my classes, they cannot edit/delete my content as I have struggled with that on other platforms. It is really eye-opening how Lucid would have been a helpful tool to have earlier, and I look forward to using it going forward. My school division just completed trainings on Lucid, and I'm excited with the availability of Education Templates like Mind Maps, Venn Diagrams, and Cause/Effect graphic organizers that can propel my middle grades science course to new depths of analysis, especially when it comes to organizing and presenting student results from at-home experiments.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be a cluttered platform in the Lucid Charts that I like to use, especially with larger classes or when working with staff/faculty in a professional development setting. I fear it could be overwhelming just on the amount of stuff that is on screen for students, though that may be helped with increased exposure. Usually, my use of Lucid sticks to about 10-30 people, but with anything more than that, I also wonder how students with limited broadband may be affected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark allows me to engage students and professional colleagues with the benefit of real-time collaborative whiteboards, allowing for seamless "dissolving" of the virtual screen and making virtual classrooms more like a traditional setting. Through the LucidCharts especially, I realize the benefits of showing students who is working, allowing for more autonomy in their collaboration, and making sure that even the most shy students' ideas can be made visible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If using Lucidspark for Education, I recommend starting using it in a collaborative setting with colleagues first before introducing it to students. Following this, scaffold students to get comfortable with the platform by starting with something simple and whole-group before trying to allow students to do small-group or independent work. I think this could be a really great tool for Jigsaw-style work, for example.
Much better then Visio
What do you like best about the product?
I like how all of the icons and shapes I need are loaded into the software, specifically logos of other organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to get the lines exactly where I need them to be, however I am getting better at it. I would like however to see some programmatic functionality built into it. For example, adding a drop down list and based on the result, it generates a diagram (similar to how Excel has functions built in (Vlookup for example).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making intuitive diagrams.
It's good to create chart quickly
What do you like best about the product?
Less investment of time to create. Just hit the site and create.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike as of now. I just started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was capturing UML design for an application. I have not spent much time learning it. It is pretty intuitive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try this. This pretty intuitive and vast number of shapes are available. You can create designs quickly.
