Evaluate LucidSpark as a platform for workshop design and facilitation
What do you like best about the product?
This tool has a very clean design and introduces some new interesting capabilities to help users during the facilitation of structured workshops. ‘Containers’ offer automated grouping, after labeling of stickies, nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no Agency/Consultancy friendly license available at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A client told us about LucidSpark asking to prepare some basic problem solving sessions.
Nice Visualisation and Real-Time Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UX and realtime collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Emails sent to collaborators delayed....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was Lucidspark as an extension of Lucidchart, whereby if I am conducting a visualisation of a strategic plan, or mindmapping a specific workflow, I can use Lucidspark to collaborate in realtime with colleagues. So the bulk tends to be to use it for mind map projects, and high level strategic overviews and visualisations. However, I have also used it for more Jamboard style of exercises.
The realtime collaboration is great, being able to see what team members and collaborators are doing on the document, or moving etc, and vice versa with what I am doing. This means that less screens need to be shared via calls, so that the calls can be keep to video or audio of people, and referring to the live collab document whilst on the call.
The only frustration I am come across so far, is that sometimes the share emails that are generated when sharing a chart or board to someone, can be delayed. So adding people in a more ad-hoc fashion is stiffled, and the chart or document needs to be created perhaps a day before a call, to ensure that everyone has the email to access it etc. If this could be improved, or people can be added via sharing a link, that would be great, as sometimes, people are identified as being needed, whilst the collaboration is taking place.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Familiarise yourself with Lucidchart first, so that you have a more streamlined experience with Lucidspark. It's not necessary per ce, but makes for a better experience.
Great online whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use, there are enough drawing tools to do what you want without it being too overwhelming.
Lucidspark allows us to collaborate online easily.
Lucidspark allows us to collaborate online easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have said lack of text export functionalities, but just saw that they added a CSV export which looks promising.
Should they add a dot (graphviz) export, it'd be a killer product.
Should they add a dot (graphviz) export, it'd be a killer product.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a collaborative whiteboard tool with all the bells and whistles, Lucidspark had it all and more. It’s great to use on virtual calls and makes working together more exciting.
Very good product, still needs couple of improvements but overall very solid
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very easy to understand and user friendly. If you're familiar with Lucidchart there is litterally no learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like all web applications, the responsiveness really depends on which browser you're using. Lucidchart products can be pretty resource intensive when dealing with a lot of items

I need to keep my initiatives organized and documented. Lucidspark allows me to visually share complex flows with my remote Teams

Great Collaborative Tool for Students
What do you like best about the product?
While I was making flowcharts collaboratively with my group, the snapping of the arrows that pointed to each box helped a lot. I loved how the user had the option to make the arrows straight or a squiggly line.
What do you dislike about the product?
That some of the functions you have to pay for. I didn't know that I was on a trial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, I was creating flowcharts on Adobe Illustrator and just sending the AI file to my teammates whenever they needed to make changes. However with Lucidspark, I was able to create charts easily and collaboratively with multiple teammates.
LucidSpark Review
What do you like best about the product?
the templates for the different diagrams. made it very easy to pick the process that I am closest to and then just edit from there
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it hard to drag and drop the bubbles/arrows. connecting them was pretty easy, but it felt like they should snap in place for the bubbles and internal text
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
maybe diagrams of different manufacturing processes so I can share with other teams and easily explain the intent. the benefit has been a professional looking graph that helps get my point across and minimizes follow up questions
Simple but effective
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is an organized white board that can be developed over time. It allows free-form drawing, but at the same time it has clean elements including shapes, containers, notes, and arrows. I've always wanted a tool like this that provides a canvas for expressing ideas, with the freedom of a white board, but with some structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the breadth of shapes is a little limited, especially compared to lucidchart. Furthermore the containers are a little awkward. To add a shape it needs to be created inside the container. You can't just drag a shape into a container and have it associate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Lucidspark, we are carrying out software planning. The main benefits are that the boards are organized enough that they have some longevity to them. Unlike a simple whiteboard, we keep developing them over time.
