Great for MBA
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart has been incredibly helpful with graduate projects while working on my Master's degree. It is easy to use and very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a student discount for the premium accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using LucidChart to mao out production processes. It has been very useful to see the these kind of processes laid out

Readability or getting a big picture from the workshop sometimes can be time consuming.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is very simple and offers many templates to choose from and customize. It is also very easy to use and highly customizable to accomodate complex structures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find that various elements don't align properly or automatically, which makes it annoying when you are moving multiple elements that are not next to each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allows me to create diagrams of complex company structures and processes that enable my team and me to have a bird's eye view of what is going on in each account. It's like a detective's whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering an application to make diagrams of complex processes or structures, Lucidchart is a very good tool.

Generated designs are not fully compatible with Microsoft Visio

What do you like best about the product?
The solution is very straightforward in its user interface, and the learning curve is not bad. Using this to map data flow/workflow produces easy-to-understand models.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its hard to modify and or create custom figures or incorporate new icons. The search/help utility is not of much help unless you know the exact keyword search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a tool that allowed multiple people to work on a diagram simultaneously. Our current solutions could do this but were hard to use. So this saves time and money when reviewing ideas amounts the team.

Lots of shapes and templates that are already built in

Can be a little challenging to navigate as a new user, hard to find a specific item if there is a lot on the page, It would be better to copy and paste things in an organized way.

Logical Data Model for a large project, I like the ability to share with other team members so they can easily view the same diagram and what I created.

Gantt charts are not that intuitive to use.

lucidchart is fast and easy to build. Templates are beneficial, so you rarely need to create something from scratch. Sharing is easy and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
google-sheets integration is not the best; you can't really make charts in google sheets and add them as an extra layer on your worksheet. some charts that require the use of numbers on them (funnel and so) do not grab data from your data source (g sheets for example), so they all have to be hard-coded into your chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I usually draw processes for our business in lucidchart, for example, mapping the whole journey of sales leads from start to finish. I also tried using it for visualizing funnels and pipelines, but without the ability to integrate data into it, it's not very useful in that sense.
Benefits of mapping processes is getting alignment from cross-functional teams on what a process should look like, as well as training new hires on our operations.
