Diaggraming made easy with Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you can work in a collaborative mode. This is very helpful, especially when diagramming or brainstorming with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are no x & y fields (like in Figma) to move shapes and elements with pixel precision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me sketch easy-to-read diagrams of different types at a significantly faster pace. That helps me deliver a good quality product relatively fast.
Intuitive, Smooth Flow from Lucidspark Brainstorming to Lucidchart Diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
It’s amazing how easy it is to go from brainstorming in Lucidspark to creating a diagram in Lucidchart in such an organized way. It’s definitely a very intuitive platform, and the overall flow feels smooth and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, when I’m working with a large number of elements, the tool can start to feel a bit slow and occasionally laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual mapping streamlines my processes, cuts down meeting time, and speeds up decision-making. The way it supports alignment and integrates with my workflow makes it an indispensable tool.
Seamless Jira Integration, Frustrating Trial Process
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the integration with Jira that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite offers. It allows me to draft ideas and get a 'big picture' view before committing to Jira. I can connect my Jira instance to my LucidSpark boards, which is great for tentatively planning sprints, story points, and having group discussions about tickets. Plus, I can easily post screenshots and walk through design flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some troubles signing up for a trial vs the actual product I wanted. I wanted to trial the version that allowed for a Jira integration but instead it only gave me the free model. This made it hard to try and win over my team. I asked finance to sign us up for a trial. I confirmed that he signed us up for the plan that allowed for Jira integrations but my instance said I had the 'free' version which does not allow for the Jira integration. Overall, I got flustered and we eventually trialed Miro instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to build roadmaps, brainstorm, and plan sprints. It integrates with Jira, allowing me to draft ideas, plan sprints, and discuss tickets collectively, seeing the big picture before committing.
My Great Experience With Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.
What do you like best about the product?
I love Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite because it helps create sequence diagrams, workflows and component diagrams for our product which helps to collaborate better. It's easier for untrained users to just get in and start building. Collaboration is amazing, I can even see my teammates' mouse moving around. Also, Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has templates to help start creating a visual or diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Only that the Google integration is not smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite enables different types of diagrams. It also allows for project management to help with client timelines.
User-Friendly with Integration Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite visually appealing and nice to use. I'm very happy with the feature of using bend lines, as they really enhance the experience. It's also easy to set up, similar to using Facebook or Instagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find line making much difficult. I think about extending lines from any object with a magnetic point to make drawing easier. I find integrating with Microsoft Excel not easy, it's very difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for making flowcharts with my teams.
Intuitive, Flexible Real-Time Collaboration That Turns Ideas Into Action
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how intuitive and flexible it is for real-time collaboration. The interface feels straightforward and easy to navigate, even for new users, and being able to brainstorm, map out processes, and visualize ideas together in one place saves a lot of time. I also really appreciate the smooth collaboration features, along with the templates and integrations, which make it simple to turn ideas into clear, actionable plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the sheer number of features and options can feel overwhelming. Some of the more advanced functionality comes with a learning curve, and performance may slow down slightly when working with very large or complex boards. On top of that, certain features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams.

Also Im having problems using linux chromium as it breaks it the moment i open a board
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me turn complex ideas into clear, shareable visuals so everyone stays aligned. It addresses the problem of scattered communication by giving me a single place to brainstorm, map out processes, and collaborate with my team in real time. As a result, we’ve had fewer misunderstandings, faster decision-making, and more productive meetings, because we can actually see the ideas and build on them together instead of only talking about them.
Fast, Real-Time Process Flow Diagramming That Keeps Meetings Moving
What do you like best about the product?
The speed in which I could develop process flow diagrams. I was able to conduct a design session and document what they were saying real time without holding up the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not able to export print quality PNG (the option is there but it always errors).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting work process flows in an intuitive way
Clean Visuals, Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I think the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is really clean. While it may not be the most user-friendly at first, once you know how to use it, you can create really compelling visuals. These visuals help articulate complex concepts or workflows in a simple way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find LucidSpark to be a little bit confusing. Some of the stuff over on the left side you have an idea of what you wanna do, but it doesn't feel the most intuitive to pull it together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to articulate user flows and workflows for business stakeholders and product development teams, enhancing understanding. It helps create clean, compelling visuals to simplify complex concepts.
Smooth Jira Integration with Clear Visuals
What do you like best about the product?
It seemed to work ok and did integrate into Jira .. but a bit slow to launch to Lucid and back ... probably partly due to this being an old version of Jira. Otherwise, it seemed to show the visual just fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didnt find anything we disliked, as it was close enough of a feature set compared to other products. Pricing was more than we wanted on a monthly subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It did provide a clean way to draw our visuals and would embed those visuals in Jira, which was a requirement for linking the visual to the project / story.
One Ecosystem That Keeps Brainstorming and Diagramming in Sync
What do you like best about the product?
Everything lives in one ecosystem: Lucidchart + Lucidspark work seamlessly, so you can brainstorm loosely and then snap those ideas straight into structured diagrams without switching tools or losing momentum.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lag with large boards/diagrams — Very big boards with lots of content can start to slow down or become unwieldy, especially on lower-powered machines.
Version control limits — Although it has history and commenting, complex branching or reviewing multiple versions isn’t as strong as in some design tools.
Version control limits — Although it has history and commenting, complex branching or reviewing multiple versions isn’t as strong as in some design tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone literally sees the same thing, reducing misunderstandings.
