What do you like best about the product?
The sticky notes are helpful to segregate information and keep tabs on multiple different topics easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find anything I disliked about Lucidspark except that it lagged a few times which I was drawing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Good for smaller groups, can be challenging at scale

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very quick to learn your way around. The feature set is better than other whiteboarding products. In particular, reactions and voting sessions stood out from other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Found it challenging to operate at scale. When more than 10 people were on a board it became hard to follow and we experienced quite a bit of latency. Very processor intensive which can cause issues if running things like Zoom and Google Docs simultaneously. Default formatting (text wrapping) of post-its could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strategic planning and brainstorming. While challenging to do this with a large group found it useful for ideation and discussion in small groups.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the size of the team who'll be using it. Small teams: great. Whole staff brainstorming sessions we found it challenging.

Good product

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use, straightforward forward and has some nice options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Google Jamboard a more accessible platform to use. I can use a background image to draw on, which helps explain complex information to patients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only have the free version, so I know I'm missing out on the best stuff, but it is a nice platform that takes the place of the whiteboard I used to draw on before.

Solid and useful

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The communal tools are excellent. Grabbing comments and voting and easily sorting them works really well for brainstorming or assessing ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drawing tools work well enough and are fairly simple to use, but I'd like the ability to throw up images and such more easily in a more moodboard style. I found those a bit awkward in implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it mostly for group brainstorming. It has been useful for remotely gathering the team and working through and voting on ideas quickly. It's been very useful for getting everyone's input and commentary and quickly voting to sort out what we actually need to focus on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very solid enterprise-level whiteboard. There are enough out there that one board can't be all things to all people, but if you want real-time collaboration you should definitely take a long look at Lucidspark.

G2 Lucidspark

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative space and visually appealing for individuals to contribute ideas. Text is shown in interactive format and drawing tools come in handy. Charts are also useful to organize information and Lucidspark facilitates remote collaboration in ways that encourage creativity and quick brainstorming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not clear on how to move my cursor to navigate the software, and the whiteboard can benefit from displaying larger font sizes and ease of scrolling from left to right, up and down. Also unclear how permissions work between individuals and assigning. It would be helpful to see who is posting what with sticky notes to make differentiation clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fostering collaboration with team and coming together for a combined workspace. Benefits include coming up with ideas simultaneously and keeping work in one space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not recommended for note-taking but presentation is aesthetically pleasing and encourages collaboration when posting blurbs.

Great product

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to learn application. Needed little to no aid when using the application and when used with my class, it was very versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calibration for the white board was a little of when using a drawing tablet, and maneuvering across the whiteboard took some getting used to
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using the whiteboard with my drawing tablet, i had terrible with the calibration and the scaling. However the ease of using the app made it worth it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When using this, it's easier when having dual monitors. It's feasible with just one, but 2+ makes it so much easier

Initial thoughts on Lucidspark

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
TEMPLATES. There are tonnes of templates for whatever your need is. I.E. PM, brainstorming, business process mapping.
What do you dislike about the product?
ACCESS. Sharing and giving team members access to LucidChart is an administrative headache.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- sharing business process maps without requiring licences for team members
- using Lucid as a virtual whiteboard to colloborate with team members
- provide visuals on project timelines and project progress

At first it was easy to use, but then it got more complicated when it came to the org chart layout.

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the click and drag features that Lucid Charts offered. I liked the sharability and collaborations of other people being able to use this platform at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the fact that in the org chart I could not add another sublayer after the second tier. Also, everything is hidden when finding the text or icon button, making it hard to find. I don't want to keep on copying and pasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The sharability and having multiple people being able to collaborate on one project. That anyone can use this and add onto each others document because it's possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If they need an org chart or visual shared with others this is the place to go.
