I like the added ability to collaborate, to go along with the features of lucid that i enjoy

Helpful Tool, Wish it was setup as a Suite

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily the platform organizes itself and how user-friendly it is; it is clear the development team considered user experience across the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most frustrating thing is the various "Lucid" platforms that aren't integrated and/or are paid for separately - it adds up quickly and I don't think the value is there to justify multiple subscriptions to the platform. IE: LucidSpark and LucidChart do integrate to stay within the same dashboard, but they don't (or it's not easy to figure out/I haven't yet) talk to a chart and spark.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are developing and outlining various operational workflows for our business - both internal and external resources. It's beneficial to have all of these tiny steps written out and visualized to allow better continuous improvement efforts and process changes. It has helped identify problem areas, quick fixes, areas that we do well, and areas that may need a longer-term solution to improve.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really nice tool to help organize complex operating systems into a visual representation; worth the cost - super easy to use and customize.

Lucidspark review

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to help students organize their ideas visually. My students are building virtual flowcharts for work plans for their graduate projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a bit of a learning curve, and that comments aren't available for free. Also the verification process to get an account took a little while, and some students were not able to get into the collaborative whiteboard immediately, some not at all (though I will admit this is the case with ANY virtual platform when working with high-schoolers).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Students need to create flowcharts for their graduation projects, and it is nice to have them conceptualize in a tool like Lucidspark. In the past, they would create a simple table in word with the months and with the actions they would take during that month. They were not dynamic, inspiring, or interesting. The flowchart inherently gives a flow to the work that they will do, and making the sequence visual like that is a great help to the teachers reviewing the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be creative and open to using Lucidspark in COLLABORATION with students, not as a place for you to be the center. It can be intimidating and even worrying to allow students the freedom to post, especially anonymously or semi-anonymously. But that should not dissuade you from having a good time and allow students to express themselves openly and freely.

Great tool to create all kinds of Diagrams and Charts

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Create editable diagrams, option to import diagrams from other applications. With easy to use options of importing diagrams from different tools like draw.io makes editing older diagram a charm. Prededfined templates helps in quickly creating different tyepes of diagrams.
Morever the documents can be shared among colleagues which makes collaboration among peers much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing imported diagrams from other tools such as draw.io doesn't work as smoothly as one would expect. The allignments and styles get jumbled up when you import the diagram, though shapes and sizes are more or less maintained . Every single time when improrting a diagram one needs to spend considerable amount of time setting up the correct alignments and arrow pointers which is quite a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as a Software Engineer dealing in complex software applications involving large amounts of data flowing from different systems. Lucid app primarily helps in creating software architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and flow charts which helps in designing and understanding software systems easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excellent tool if your work involves any charts or diagrams.

What do you like best about the product?
Huge list of features with great ease of use even for first time whiteboard users
Collaboration is easy and brainstorming is a breeze with Lucid Spark.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation across the whiteboard could be a bit difficult when multiple spaces are being used to write or draw.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating my first product and collaborating on design sprints and ideation has become very simple since we are working remotely. In the post covid world, collaborating from multiple geographies becomes all the more useful.
