Transforming Ideas into Action with Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid visual collaboration suite brings clarity and alignment to complex ideas. The ability to visualize workflow, processes and strategies in real time makes collaboration seamless, especially across distributed teams, Its intuitive interface and flexibility allow me to quickly turn concepts into actionable plans which accelerates decision making and drives innovation, It is not just a diagramming tool, it is a platform that helps think, plan, and execute together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any platform available in the market, it also requires some initial onboarding to unlock its full potential, but that expected with a tool offering such depth and flexibility. There is very little to dislike about this wonderful platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the challenge of aligning teams around complex ideas and processes, especially in a hybrid work environment, It enables me to visualize workflows, system architectures and strategic plans in a way that is easy to understand and collaborate on in real time. This reduces miscommunication, accelerates decision making and ensures everyone is working towards the same objectives. The result is faster execution, improved cross functional alignment and a culture of transparency and innovation.
Lucid is quick and easy to learn, use, and produce meaningful visualizations fast.
What do you like best about the product?
I have not used it much but in university but it was great to use live in meetings so we could collaborate at the same time. The best feature is being able to see the cursor in real-time of other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my small exposure to this feature, I have not had anything to dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is solving the problem of cluttered documents with my coworkers. Using the charts generated with Lucid is far more helpful than sending a sheet of bullet points
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, and helps collaboration across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything to dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping our processes and architectures.
Very interactive Visual Collaboration program that is easy to use and export.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing that I have noticed about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the interface itself. There are a lot of templates already available and it is easy to customize. The fact that I was able to put a huge Org Chart into a single file format was huge for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I did not like about the Lucid Visual Collaboration suite is it can be a little tough to share outside of those who have the program installed. The ease of integration if you will. If the person isn't actively involved with the collaboration it is a little tricky to send them the finished product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create an interactive org chart that is more than just a two dimensional table. This benefits me because now you can visibly see the branches in a clear way.
Lucid is a powerful collaboration tool but some things can still be improved
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible the platform is. It makes it easy to create flowcharts without much learning curve. It is easy to able to work with teammates simultaneously and see changes instantly. The integrations with tools like Google Drive and Slack makes using the platform easy to you and probably just continue your previous work
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the performance usually slows down with large diagrams, which can make navigation a bit frustrating. Also, I sometimes use the free tier on my personal computer and some of the advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which can be limiting for me while off work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me solve the challenge of bringing projects into a single visual space that everyone can understand. I really don’t need to rely on long documents or scattered notes, I can map out workflows and project timelines in a way that’s easy to share and update. The collaboration features helped to remove the barrier that comes with working across different locations. My team and I can just brainstorm and edit in real time.
A Flexible Tool for Visual Collaboration Across Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has become one of my go-to tools for collaboration, especially when working with cross-functional teams. The interface is intuitive, and it’s easy to get started whether you’re building flowcharts, wireframes, or brainstorming in a more free-form way. I like how it combines structure (with templates and shapes) and flexibility (being able to drag, drop, and link ideas fluidly). The integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive are also really helpful for keeping everything connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
it can feel a little heavy when you’re working on very large, complex boards. Load times can lag slightly, and sometimes the sheer number of features feels overwhelming if you’re just trying to create something simple. Pricing is also something to consider if your team needs access to advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me cut through a lot of the back-and-forth that used to happen when sharing funnels, workflows, or campaign ideas across teams. Instead of static slides that get outdated fast, I can map things out visually and make changes in real time while others are in the document. It’s made it much easier to get non-analytical stakeholders aligned quickly, and I’ve saved a lot of time reusing templates instead of starting from scratch each time.
A pleasant but somewhat perplexing experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Lucid, in my opinion, is how simple it is to transform an ambiguous concept into an understandable diagram. The extensive template library saves a great deal of time, and the interface feels very natural. Lucid provided me with the necessary capabilities to display touchpoints, frontstage and backstage actions, and client interactions in a single layout when I was creating a customer service plan. The fact that sharing was easy and my team could follow my design right away without further explanation was really beneficial to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that can be annoying, despite the platform's strength. I had to be cautious about what I could access as a student because some of the more sophisticated designs and features are only available with the paid subscription. Because the library is so big, it occasionally took me several minutes to find the precise form or symbol I was looking for in the menu. Finally, a smaller laptop screen may appear a bit cluttered while working on large schematics. I believe I can create comparable maps using Canva as well. Additionally, I couldn't utilise it as easily as Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My challenge of explaining intricate procedures in an easy-to-understand visual format was resolved with Lucid's assistance. I had to create a customer service blueprint for my project that included several levels of client interactions, frontstage staff activities, and backstage support procedures. Doing that in PowerPoint or Word would have been messy, but Lucid made it fast . In addition to saving me time, being able to graphically arrange information made my job easier for others to understand.
From Brainstorming to Execution – A Lucid Experience
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Lucid chart collaboration has always been the simplicity that comes with it. You can literally see co-workers building on your ideas as you are working, and the real-time editing makes it feel seamless. It avoids the nightmare of "version chaos" and a lot of the back and forth is eliminated. The user-friendly interface doesn't allow me to waste time figuring out how to do tasks. I must say that I am also very happy that I am able to choose whether to start from scratch or just pick a template and make changes, depending on my need for speed or flexibility. Taking everything into account, it makes the working out and sharing of complicated ideas much easier without having to be a design graduate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Generally the user experience is good, however the product is still with some issues. Orienting the mouse is not always a smooth operation with the center click and panning being still somewhat unergonomic when compared to the other tools. Moreover, since the product is fully browser-based, a really strong internet connection is needed at all times; it would be still better if there was some offline space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is a tool that makes it possible for me to change the incomprehensible ideas into something that everyone can actually see and understand. Rather than having long email chains or slide decks, I am able to draw processes, org charts, or workflows, which are easily accessible, in one place and then share them with the team. The real-time collaboration, which is also very helpful, avoids us from the trouble of different versions everybody is quite literally looking at the same diagram, updating it together, thus, decision-making is accelerated.
Lucid makes creating Diagrams easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid allows you to build out comprehensive architecture diagrams, with a suite of shapes and fonts to build what is required. It is easy to share within your organisation, collaborate and export.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few more built in icons and a better image searching functionality. As an architect who builds diagrams, the search function lacks a lot of basic icons for cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing and iterating over solution and reference architecture diagrams. This makes it easy to adapt, fix or improve diagrams and make them presentation ready.
Easy and Convenient Tool for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that we can easily share and collaborate on any feature that we are working on. The support and integration with other tools is greatly beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe could work on a little more freedom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
