Cool Resources- A bit complicated for Elementary School
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative aspect that is fostered through Lucidspark. It allows for even my shy and quiet students to participate and be "heard". Students are engaged and encouraged to share out in a new way in calss.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, not all elementary age students are responsible. There are times when students have deleted other students' responses. Also, there are so many options (almost too many) that these younger grades get more distracted in choosing size, font, color, shape and that holds them back from completing the assignment in the time given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On the collaborative whiteboard, my class had tried to post a bunch of post-it notes. It got crazy as one student zooms out then the entire screen was tiny for everyone in the class. I would appreciate if there was a better way to monitor and manage these activities. I think that if it were better controlled, the goal of technological collaboration could be achieved. I do like the portion that allows for the post its to be categorized by color. It allows me to organize student responses and display them in a complete way. I was confused at this point because it shrunk the post its after categorizing and was impossible to read the entire response written on each post it.
have been using this with friend, work out quite well.

Navigation via the boar. Needs more time for adoption. Time to time having a problem with zoom function, possible internet connection lagging. Time to time zoom was too slow during the presentation. The same was with moving action, navigation during the presentation.

So far, my only frustration is not having time to explore the features of lucidchart and see how they apply to my teaching approaches.

Lucidspark is great for team and employee collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is for my class peers and I to work together on assignments. When signing in you get tips on how to use Lucidspark so you learn more about it with every use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to sign in with every use, this is a annoyance because I use it at least twice a week. Also boards start to lag when too much is added in them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More effective and efficient group projects. For example, my whole team can work on a project and be able to communicate and see what each of us are contributing. It also makes mind maps much easier!

collaboration about big project, brainstorming, planning, retrospectives
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i think it's a good tool for the purpose that has. There's no particular reason to use Lucid instead of Miro but... you can try and choose what you prefer
Review on Lucid Spark
What do you like best about the product?
The think I like best about Lucid Spark is the voting feature and how you can react to items that are posted on a board. This tools is especially helpful when brainstorming and gathering feedback on whatever the topic may be. It also adds a fun element to the tool. One other thing that is helpful is that anyone can go in and add content at any time and at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say that the downside of Lucid Spark would be that some of the content can get messy or lost because the board is so large. For example, if there are multiple users contributing to the board, some of the sticky notes or boxes may be different sizes. If content starts to spill off of the screen, you'll need to scroll through the page. With that, sometimes it's not easy to get back to the starting point because there is no real corners or boarders of the board to tell you what is the start of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit to using Lucid Spark for our organization is that this tool gives us an opportunity to brainstorm and to collaborate. This will come in handy with decision making but could be a fun tool overall for more team building sessions.

N/A
A bit confusing at first
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of info/data that a single page can hold. Additionally I think the unique format (reminiscent of thought/idea trees) is highly valuable in disseminating unstructured information that would otherwise be stored in typical spreadsheet or text-based documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Relating to User experience; I am finding it difficult to navigate via a Windows operating system and without a mouse that incorporates zoom/panning. Doesn’t seemed designed for this setup.
2) I have yet to find a search function within the tool. This makes it somewhat difficult to find specific information. Correlating to this issue, The organization of the information, when each individual is responsible for content and placement of their respective data; the board can quickly become a little disorganized and difficult to understand flow and the bigger picture the info is trying to convey.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency among departments/teams. Prior to the implementation of Lucidsparks, there was little understanding of cross-departmental roles nor their contributions to the overall business objectives.
