Great Interoperability, But Container Confusion Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Interoperability with other diagram tools is a strong point. I appreciate being able to import a Miro board simply by using the clipboard, even though some formatting was lost in the process. Overall, this feature is helpful for those transitioning from Miro or who need to work with both platforms. Importing Mermaid diagrams is also straightforward, which I find convenient. However, it would be much more efficient if there were an option to convert Mermaid diagrams into Lucid format, as this would give me greater flexibility to move and style objects as I wish.
I liked the introduction the newly added feature of AI. Exporting to different formats also is a sensible feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
There were several occasions when I found myself confused by the different containers—some have titles at the top, while others just contain text inside. It would also be fantastic if it were possible to import all the styling and images when copying from a Miro board.

The platform's flexibility supporting everything from flowcharts to advanced technical diagrams makes it a versatile tool for both brainstorming and formal documentation. For me, it is not just about visualization, it is about enabling structured thinking and fostering innovation through better communication. i appreciate the ability to turn complexities into clear structured visual representations that everyone can understand.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often deal with intricate workflows, system architectures and abstract concepts that are hard to convey through text or static documents. Lucid addresses this by providing an intuitive, visual first platform where ideas can be mapped, refined and shared in real time. Ultimately, lucid doesn't just help visualize ideas, it helps me think better together, which translates into faster innovation and more impactful outcomes.
Lucid Makes Virtual Collaboration and Sprint Retrospectives a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Lucid enables our team to collaborate virtually. One feature I particularly enjoy is the voting tool, which has proven to be very useful during our sprint retrospective meetings.

There's nothing I dislike about Lucid currently.

The main challenge that Lucid addresses for our team is enabling collaborative whiteboarding in a virtual environment.

Quick Updates Collaboration Without Delays, Function to Re-organize
What do you like best about the product?
I quite like it, I've been using Lucid for about 4 years and the response time and speed in updating. I've noticed that some other collaborative tools focused on diagrams tend to be a bit slow and take time to show the changes that another person makes in the diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one aspect that could be greatly improved is the connection between entities in the diagram. Often, the arrows are somewhat difficult to connect or end up overlapping with each other. Perhaps a function that allows the diagram to be automatically rearranged would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool allows me to visually lay out the system I have in mind, which makes it easier for my bosses to better understand the idea and have a clearer vision of how the project will work. Additionally, it shows how the different modules will connect, making my presentations and explanations much simpler.
Excellent for collaboration with easy controls
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of shapes and flowchart symbols make creating any flowcharts or data flow diagrams simple and quick. The UI is also very intuitive and easy to learn, with a very useful follow feature to check what others are contributing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Under stress, it can struggle slightly with many collaborators, but under 25 users it is perfectly fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are no other, even partially free, options for a large number of users to collaborate simultaneously on large mindmaps or diagrams without significant lag or unintuitive UI.

We can collaboratively work on user journeys, and work flows with exceptional ease.

As of now according to my skills and understanding on the suite, I am pretty much fine with its experience.

It's solving the complex product spec maintenance with ease Collab and it's comfortable to use for even beginners.

The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it accessible for both beginners and more experienced team members. Its ease of use ensures that everyone can navigate and utilize its features effectively.

I would like the AI to provide clear step-by-step instructions on how to action particular features. It would be helpful if there were a simple way to make quick updates to the design and branding of existing templates.

Powerful Visualization and Data Linking for 24/7 Clarity with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows me to create flowcharts and org charts which help me visualize my company for 24/7.
Data linking and conditional formatting is another advantage that I realize with this tool which help me connect spreadsheets to any shape to allow me visualize data from other sources as shapes to better understand them.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is too unfortunate that I wasn’t able to use both Lucidchart and Lucidspark Android applications when I hadn’t upgraded since they only allowed Team and Enterprise users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UML sequencing allows me to seamlessly to generate diagrams with builtin or my own code with the help of LVCS.

Excellent Templates & Real-Time Collaboration, But Needs Mermaid Code and Dark Mode
What do you like best about the product?
The templates are great and serve as a very useful base. I love that people can work together on projects in real-time. Very convenient for remote teams. The ease of copying and pasting the work onto documents also makes me inclined to use Lucid.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wouldn't call it a downside, but would have loved the feature of adding mermaid chart code to the flowcharts. This helps with ease of editing. Also the ability to visualize the work in both light and dark mode would've helped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping my remote team work together to create flowcharts that are essential for work.
