Lucid: Easy-to-Use Flowchart Tool with Helpful Templates and Simple Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I have tried using various other online tools for creating flowcharts and visual representations, but most of them either required me to learn a new coding system—which takes up valuable time—had platforms that were too complicated, or charged excessively high fees. What I appreciate about Lucid is that it is straightforward to use, the interface is easy to navigate, and my company was able to cover the cost of my subscription through the institution's licensing. Another great feature is the ability to collaborate with others on my projects, and that I can make an unlimited number of projects, allowing me to try out different orientations for data display.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting started with any new platform can be confusing and time-consuming. Although I find this suite to be quite user-friendly and straightforward—particularly thanks to the templates available for launching new projects—the initial experience can still feel a little rough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Lucid to design study schemas for our research team, such as flowcharts and similar diagrams. What I appreciate most is that it addresses two main challenges for me; first, it provides an intuitive way to map out the flow of a research study without getting bogged down by alignment or formatting issues, and it makes sharing with colleagues for feedback straightforward. Second, Lucid serves as a helpful visual tool for unraveling the complexities of a project, which has really helped me gain a deeper understanding of our project plans.
Great diagram tools and good in graphical processes
What do you like best about the product?
The presence of preset icons and shapes to create diagrams is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software updates are less frequent than I would like them to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s very helpful to create flowcharts from scratch and lay out a detailed stepwise plan for my programs.
Great Templates and Workflow Tools, but Limited Free Access
What do you like best about the product?
I like the description of different aspects to create a workflow or chart. I love the templates, as they provide inspiration and assistance in creating my own documents, and make it easy for someone with minimal experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how few opportunities/docs I am able to try as a free user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to plan out my member journey and how I will support them so it allows me to map out the journey and interject where I want to enter.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite: Essential and Sophisticated Tool for Remote Teamwork for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite in 2020 from my previous organization as HR Coordinator. Ever since it has been an integral part of my daily business processes. Real-time collaboration is the main thing that I like since we (teams) are able to work together despite geographical location differences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the learning curve was steep, the vendor technical team never ignored us and took us through the entire journey from implementation and they still does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding and training has been easy to conduct with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite mainly for new hires by creating interactive experiences.
Great Clean Structures, but Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the clean structures they offer, as well as the layout during the design process, which makes everything easily accessible and convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we minimize the entire page, it becomes difficult to scroll and zoom in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool assists our team by providing a visual representation of requirements, which makes it easier for the frontend team to develop features.It also helps us to how databsea and backend connects and how apis are called
Effortless Diagramming with Perfect Alignment and Quick Sketches
What do you like best about the product?
The immediate thing I enjoy is the arrows and connectors properly align when creating diagrams, they just snap in place. It is great for quick sketches to be attached to a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my use I have no cons to mention, I had a great time and I will certainly continue using it for these type of jobs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very helpful when it comes to creating diagrams and flowcharts to connect facility maintenance requests and the completion of work orders.
Excellent sketch and design product
What do you like best about the product?
Every time I was create flowcharts for any presentation I am immediately dropped into a diagramming interface that is very handy and all types of icons are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that is problematic about the product. It is one of the best that is better than any other out there.

I create clear visual diagrams to represent project stages that help us to see what we are doing and how we are planning to do it.
Clean, Intuitive Board That Keeps Me Focused
What do you like best about the product?
I find the board very clean and intuitive. The menu options are clear and make it easy to understand which objects and tools I can use. It helps me stay focused on visualizing ideas without distractions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes feels too technical and a bit intimidating at first. The interface doesn’t always invite you to experiment or “play around,” which can make it less approachable for new or non-technical users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me visualize and understand entities, attributes, and their relationships within database tables. It makes it easier to design and communicate data models in a clear, structured way, improving collaboration and alignment across teams.
Product design is solid for arch diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
It offers a variety of pre-built templates that span several project types in which also I can easily include and move around shapes to create my desired diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is quite clicky and has a lot going on so be careful when refining, editing and polishing your charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The templates, shapes, icons and graphics it provides allows me to plan projects more consistently and cover the necessary topics.
