Easy to use, fun to create!

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very easy software to use; upgrading allowed me to increase the level of output required for my organizations needs.
It is also a very affordable software, the price points were not outrageous in the least.
I was able to reach out to their support team, who got back to me quite quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nicer if the more aesthetic customization features were more easily accessible; it was trickier to find colour customization options than any other feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a concise and legible org chart to meet our government obligations.

What do you like best about the product?
Having well detailed and distinct cards that could be colored differently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing noticed yet. I've been not that long on the Lucid charts, but as of now, I would say that there's not yet a downside of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spontaneousness. The Lucid Visuals are really helpful to know the work process. As a matter of fact, I am currently an employee at One Acre Fund. Thus, to better organize my tasks systematically, I have to visualize their process.

Clear, Collaborative, and a Visualiser Companion

What do you like best about the product?
What like best about Lucidchart is how easy it is to use. The drag-and-drop interface and huge library of templates make it simple for anyone to quickly create professional-looking timelines, diagrams, and charts.
also love the real-time collaboration features. It's perfect for working with others on a project, as we can all see and edit the same document at the same time. This was incredibly helpful for my criminology timeline, as my group and could easily add different events and see the whole picture come together instantly. It saved us a ton of time and kept everyone on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main issue with the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that it feels like there are too many different tools and features. While Lucidchart is great for diagrams and Lucidspark is for whiteboarding, sometimes it's not clear which tool I should use for a new project. This can make the workflow feel a bit clunky and less seamless than I would like. L
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solves the problem of communicating complex ideas and processes. It's difficult to explain a complex system or a series of events using just words. Lucidchart lets me turn those abstract thoughts into clear, visual diagrams that everyone can understand at a glance.
This was incredibly beneficial for my criminology assignment. Instead of writing a long, confusing essay about the timeline of events for a case, I could create a visual timeline that showed every key event, connection, and person involved. It helped me and my group members organize our research, clarify our arguments, and present the information in a way that was both easy to understand and memorable for our professor. It's a single source of truth for all of our work, which makes it easy to stay aligned and avoid miscommunication.

Visual Representation Tool, But Fun

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The UI of the system sets it apart from other tools. Instead of having to drag and drop objects manually, the system makes it so simple to continue on with your visual in a standardized fashion, which makes it easy for the user to focus on the content rather than the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much, but I do find it semi-difficult to format every object on a visual after the content work is completed. A feature to make all lines, arrows, fonts, etc. across the visual could be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use it to map and communicate business, operational, and technology workflows across asset management firms. Visualizing these processes is especially helpful when introducing new systems or processes, as it improves clarity for both us and our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and quick to start up and create immediately, easy to learn and easy to share and get your point across
What do you dislike about the product?
free trial is a little limited, if I were using it a ton I'd pay for it, but it needs more use before making that commitment, maybe double the shapes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering design for systems and databases

Great cloud tool for flowcharting processes

  • September 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to share files & allow teammates to make edits. It's very intuitive to use & the templates are a great starting point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still confused about the difference between LucidSpark & LucidChart, or rather why they are distinctly separate?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of not having a tool to flowchart out our processes. It is benefitting me as a new employee here to wrap my head around the processes & how to improve upon them.

A must have for seamless team collaboration

  • September 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes collaboration incredibly easy. The interface is intuitive, so anyone on the team can jump in without much training. It integrates smoothly with tools we already use like Jira and Slack, which means we can keep everything connected. I use it for brainstorming, planning, and team sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming deciding which tool or template to use because of the number of choices. But overall, the breadth of features is a strength once you know what’s there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps my team cut through the confusion that often comes with remote collaboration. Instead of endless back-and-forth messages or scattered documents, we can map out ideas, workflows, and projects visually in one place. This makes complex processes easier to understand, keeps everyone aligned, and saves us time by reducing miscommunication.
