Visual Project Mapping Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map and plan projects, and I love how visual it is. It really helps align different teams when they can see what needs to get done. The visual look and feel suit me perfectly because I'm probably one of the most visual people you've met. I find it way easier to move tasks around projects, under headings, and to different people. The system isn't restricting me like other applications do, allowing me to map a project how it's mapped in my head.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get confused with shortcuts. The zoom in, zoom out vs moving left and right I get confused with. It's kind of minor, wouldn't stop me from using the platform. Also, the initial setup wasn't amazing; I had a login for about a year but didn't use it because there seemed to be trouble getting me linked to the company account, but all sorted now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map and plan projects, visualize interdependencies, and simplify task management. It makes aligning teams easier with its visual approach and enhances ease of use compared to spreadsheets.
Effortless Org Charts with Room for Navigation Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very simple and streamlined, making it not complex. It's very easy to figure out where the things are that I'm looking for, so I don't have to spend too much time navigating the tool. I can use it for what I need and move on, which is nice because it's supportive and doesn't require spending too much time on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the navigation still feels a bit clunky. I wouldn't exactly say the platform lends itself to helping you easily discover a lot of different ways to use it. It takes a little bit to get off the ground with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solves visual communication problems for me, making it easy to share organization charts with colleagues, which is difficult to do effectively via text or Word documents.
Easy Flowcharting but Setup Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is to use and navigate on the website. Creating flowcharts is simple, as the shapes are predefined, easy to drag and drop, and the arrows automatically connect. This makes the process quicker and more straightforward compared to other websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it glitches and some clicks make it double. So there could be some more clarity. It was quite hard because it kept sending codes to my Gmail. And I had to refresh them until it worked and I did it quick enough. So the process could be a bit easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for easy flowchart creation with predefined shapes and self-connecting arrows, making the process quicker and more straightforward compared to other tools.
Excellent for Floor Plans, Excited to Explore More
What do you like best about the product?
We primarily use it for creating floor plans for our clients, but we are eager to explore the other products included in the suite. We will be using the floor planning on a regular basis, because we give all of our clients one to review. I like that fact that we can share the floor plans with our clients to assist in the planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any complaints; it's simply a matter of getting used to the new system, since we previously relied on Social Tables. Adjusting to the changes will take some time as we learn how to use everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned earlier, we are only just beginning to use this program. I am interested in finding out which other Hilton properties are utilizing it for floor plans, as it would be helpful to connect with others while I am learning. I have already noticed that the product is easy to use, which should be a significant advantage for us as we move forward with implementation.
Effortless Mind Mapping with a Minor Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to draw mind maps, capturing process flows, ideas, and interdependencies effectively.
Collaborative diagrams have improved architecture design and streamline communication across teams
What is our primary use case?
We have been using Lucidchart for over a year across multiple teams. Our main use case for Lucidchart is to create architecture diagrams, process workflows, system designs, and collaboration visuals.
We have used Lucidchart to create architecture diagrams for a couple of customers along with our SOWs. We share the architecture diagram to define their as-is infrastructure and the to-be infrastructure. We use Lucidchart to create their existing ecosystem, what they have, the existing landscape they have on AWS, and then what will be their to-be infrastructure once we implement all those changes as per the statement of work.
What is most valuable?
Lucidchart has impacted us positively. It is supporting many features that we are leveraging right now, and the performance and stability are excellent. Day-to-day work and collaboration have been smoothed significantly. Multiple users can edit and comment simultaneously, which has helped us speed up our work and reduce the dependency on static documents we used to have previously.
Since using Lucidchart, there is considerable time savings and better communication. With clear diagrams, it reduces misunderstandings and rework altogether.
The best features Lucidchart offers include real-time collaboration, extensive shape libraries, the templates provided, and cloud-based access. These features are very helpful for us.
The real-time collaboration helps our teams work on diagrams together and for sharing and feedback. We collaborate on diagrams with team members. For instance, if a security part is handled by a different team member or an infrastructure part is handled by a different team member, they collaborate on the diagram piece. Additionally, we get it reviewed. Once the diagram is prepared, we collaborate with the senior architect and send it to the architect for review.
We use the templates to design cloud architectures and different services that AWS cloud offers. The templates have all the logos and icons needed. We also use different templates for documenting workflows and explaining systems during reviews with customers or supervisors.
What needs improvement?
Lucidchart could have more features to ease down the architecture creation. Perhaps some features could automate the design based on a certain use case and help us design the document and architecture automatically.
User experience could be improved. It could be more accessible for initial users who are starting with Lucidchart. A better and easier interface would help new users get started. Additionally, integrations could be improved by providing more features.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working in my current field for more than ten years.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise others looking into using Lucidchart that it is ideal for teams that value collaboration and clarity. It works best when diagrams are actively maintained and shared across the organization. I would rate this product an eight out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
