A smooth feature enablement tool that reviles the competition (and home grown solutions)
What do you like best about the product?
* Amazing SDK support for many languages, super easy to integrate in new projects
* Audit trail (as long as your devs use it lol)
* Metrics/analytics (though I haven't made massive use of that)
* Dashboard to understand what state various splits are in
* Fast bootup/data retrievel on application boot
* Great support to allow for new splits based on different data
* Extremely simple to understand or show new devs how to launch their features

What do you dislike about the product?
* Our complex test/staging/prod environment setup means that some of the dashboards are harder to follow, a way to create a custom dashboard would be great
* When using the approval system changes get applied the moment all approvals are granted, which has caught my team unaware, we know it now though (we are use to merge request workflows where the person submitting a change controls when it's applied)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where I work we have a two weekly release cycle, being able to launch feature behind splits and switch over at opportune moments is crucial. We would often have to hand roll this kind of stuff into our own app/conf/DB...etc. in the past. Now it's just a few clicks over on split and a few lines of code here and there

A good experience
What do you like best about the product?
All the support that provides when you have doubts or problems with something.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price could be more competitive in comparison with others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To compare diferent scenarios and see what is better
Top Tier Feature Flagging
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from Optimizely, Split has been a breath of fresh air. The configuration, management of flags and visibility is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike, the hardest part of any feature flagging system is keeping it organized and usable as you iterate. It's not a split issue, but a feature flagging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to separate our releases and deploys. Giving the product team autonomy to manage EAs and feature rollout.
Easy to use and very powerful
What do you like best about the product?
We used Split to create features that we're beta testing with our users. It exceeded our expectations. It was simple to pause the feature when we experienced a performance decline in th esystem. It was equally simpleto restore the feature once the bugs were fixed and bet atesting coudl continue. Split has become an invaluable tool in our deployent process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a leraning curve, but I would expect that from a platform with so many tools and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deliver features to beta test volunteers and control how feautres are delivered. Improve the quality of our delivery of value to the user.
Overall solid for the price but lacking quite a bit
What do you like best about the product?
It does offer an SDK and feature flags.
Setup is semi simple
Has a js sdk

What do you dislike about the product?
No typescript SDK
No seperate packages for client and server side SDKs
Occasional failures on the client to fetch feature flags
Ability to split traffic is behind what we had with something like LaunchDarkly. Like their distribute treatments feature isn't like a traffic split at all, and I'm not sure what their traffic split feature actually is.
UI makes it terrible to copy and paste different flags we need to use

Feature Flags
Awesome tool, keeps releases easy and allows for controlled rollout
What do you like best about the product?
As a product manager, I have my teams build almost everything using feature toggles with Split.io. This gives me quick and easy control over user/account access and feature rollouts. It also makes testing much easier, and is very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. We love it! I disike that I have to meet a character limit here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Flexibility in the control and timing of releases.
2. Gives us an easy way to roll out features to smaller groups at a time, by % of users, geo location, or others.
3. Allows us to test multiple solutions at once, and easily make changes.

Extremely effective A/B testing + feature rollout management software
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely straightforward UI. The Split team has done a great job of keeping the feature set narrow + lean, focusing on the core requirements of feature management + experimentation teams. There's no extra bells and whistles that don't need to be there; every single feature is deliberately added.
The SDK integration is straightforward and thoughtful, and the team is very easily accessible any time that issues arise.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's less control than I would like in terms of the data that Split passes to third party software that we use for analytics. Would be nice if we had more granular control of the data Split sends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Split to manage all A/B testing in our product, and we use it to gate access to experimental features to ensure that we're able to catch any bugs before our entire user base encounters them.
Made my life so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it brings tears to my eyes from the sheer gratitude I feel in that I'm able to easily and instantly implement feature flags and A/B testing for our users, both internal and external. Afforable and quick to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could use some more verbose documentation on the technical risks related to deployments. We had some total outages occur sporatically when we first implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Couldn't A/B test at all before
Had no scalable way for internal users to test features prior to release
Had no scalable way for internal users to hop between different plans we deliver.

Split is an essential tool in our stack
What do you like best about the product?
Split is a tool that we rely on heavily when releasing new features.
We like how quickly changes show up on the client side and how easy it is to use, making it accessible to non-technical people as well. Additionally, we are satisfied with the affordable pricing plan.
Audit logs provide valuable information to help determine who made changes to the configuration and when those changes were made.
Overall, we use only basic features in Split, but it works perfectly for us. We don't use AB testing or metrics.

What do you dislike about the product?
Having more metadata or schema in the rules could prevent configuration errors due to typos
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our use case for Split is how to gradually release features to users based on specific rules
