Reliable product with a great customer service.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is very reliable, it has a good number of integrations already in place and works nicely with CDPs. The support team is amazing and they answer questions in a very timely manner. Also very helpful are the governance tools. The python Admin API has also been very helpful in organizing experiments and building tools around Split.io's service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Split is among the top leaders in this industry, it can become pricy as the utilization grows. A minor feature that can be useful to have is to know in the live-tail what are the exact inputs that the system have received that resulted in returning a specific result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split solves the problem of safely deploying a new feature and also experimenting with various ideas when it comes to making changes to your application and web or backend service. This is essentially the best way to grow a business and optimize your product.

What do you like best about the product?
The way that Split consider their clients, they take the time to answer our questions, collaborate with implementation solution and they follow on our need to grow their backlog. You can choose many tools on the market that does Feature Toggling but Split offer a powerful one and most important, you are investing in a powerful team when doing business with Split. Will highly recommend to any companies who want to implement feature toggling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, since that take our issue with the tool seriously and they make it evolve to fulfil the need of their clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a simple way to activate and deactivate fonctionalities to prevent users to get a bugged fonctionalities, we a re not yet ready to implement A/B testing and Canary deployment. It will help us go forward with DevSecOps approach all over the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Since there are many tools on the market that can do the same thing, take the time to see how Split is simple to use and talk to the team. We were sold by that relation with the team and their will to make their tool better for the client.

Very easy interface for our teams to create feature flags by deployment environment. Audit history for compliance is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
User management across multiple instances could be cleaned up.

Effect changes in the application to specific communities of users.

Customer service is superb, also product availability... never experienced an outage in production.

The product's UI needs a bit more work - dashboard can get disorganized quickly at scale.

Split is the best tool to configure A/B testing

What do you like best about the product?
Using split is possible to manage features. For example, set control groups to test something.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there are a lot of treatments, it's not intuitive to know what is each one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Control features as you need. For example, select the OS, Country or specific users to see some feature.

The parameters used in the split must be written exactly as the code. Would be easier if split could list the parameters to be selected instead of writing

Split is straightforward to use. It is pretty reliable.
It is a great tool for continuously delivering features.

Split could use more documentation.
It could give more examples of complex targetting rules.
It could also give more examples or provide libraries to help integrate Split into your application.

What I like the best is that it is fast and that we didn't experience any outage.

The UI is not the most user friendly, it isn't obvious to use and sometimes cumbersome.

What do you like best about the product?
Segments - the ability to separate out a set of customers from a feature and set rules accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating to the admin portal. the admin UI can be a bit better. finding API keys and creating new environments is always something i have to look closely, even if i have done it many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Features can now be tested in different environments and enabled/disabled according to the need. This leads to a better customer experience by faster feature rollouts.
