Next generation of Feature toggling
What do you like best about the product?
Segments - the ability to separate out a set of customers from a feature and set rules accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating to the admin portal. the admin UI can be a bit better. finding API keys and creating new environments is always something i have to look closely, even if i have done it many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Features can now be tested in different environments and enabled/disabled according to the need. This leads to a better customer experience by faster feature rollouts.
Very nice experience
What do you like best about the product?
performance, support, stability, and docs
What do you dislike about the product?
UI of the app needs improvement just that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
feature flag to release a new feature for experience
Experiment testint inside Search engine in Rappi App
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is really easy and userfriendly, creating new experiments and splits is easy
What do you dislike about the product?
We loose a lot of impressions in the migration from split to the internal databases where we ingest the information. Even if I download the impressions directly from the UX when i compare that to or event logs I loose 30% on user information.
Also there is no easy way to know which user properties can be used in a split.
Also there is no easy way to know which user properties can be used in a split.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for new feature and algorithms releases in the search engine, it has helped us realize which new algos and features are adding value to our users across 9 countries in latinamerica, leading to a higgher conversion
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare the impressions you get with your own logs to check for missing info
Excellent release management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to setup, maintain feature flags, deploy quickly and safely, conduct A/B tests, and integrates well with many other products and services
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with custom workflows could be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Release management, continuous deployment, A/B testing. Benefits have been a much less painful/frustrating experience with releases, developing standalone features and integrations without breaking the stack
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider all your use cases and what custom workflows you'd like to build and compare other solutions as well
Great product and support team - Soon to be leader in A/B testing
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best parts about Split was the ability to control our roll outs. Meaning, we could slow play the roll outs and only push 25% out. Also, as the title reads, their A/B testing was an absolute cakewalk.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see pricing reviewed as I don't think they're incredibly competitive there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Similar to what others have said, mostly A/B testing, mixed with a few flags here and there.
Simple and flexible AB & Feature toggling
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to do incremental rollouts to small percentages of users gives us extra confidence when releasing new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to complain about since getting it all set up and I'm sure there's features I haven't discovered yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using split, to turn features on/off we would have to redeploy, now it can happen instantaneously which has all kinds of benefits. It's much easier to coordinate wider releases with toggles, helps us get code into production quicker, and allows us to run clear & simple AB / multi-variant tests.
Easy, reliable, synchronised and secure
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating splits and the synchronisation without having to build everything yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my use cases, I have not found anything bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use split for maintaining AB testing as well as releasing features internally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great piece of software with easy to use UX and it is great help in A/B testing in particular.
Nice and simple
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up, and it's amazing that we can control rollout of features using split. It reduces the risk of affecting clients if something goes wrong
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like better logging and filters of the evaluation of splits
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rollout of features, A/B testing, feature flagging
Great product, amazing team (especially support)
What do you like best about the product?
Product, team, support.
If you need a good tool for feature flags/toggles and/or if you need a tool to do A/B testing, try Split.io out. You will never look back. I only experienced this level of quality, support, and dedication from Looker people, so far. :)

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. It's not cheap, but if you want quality you will need to pay for it. And it is definitely not orders of magnitude off from their competitor products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature toggles, A/B testing. We realized their willingness to have a call with us and guide us is irreplaceable.
