Split is one of the best solutions on the market I have used so far
What do you like best about the product?
I like Split because it's easy to set up and maintain and has a free tier that suits all of my needs. And the iOS SDK is stable enough, I didn't have any issues with it so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I am missing during my daily work is there is no API access on a free tier. But if I remember correctly, paid tiers have this option so I don't really complain about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm mainly using Split for feature toggles, this way I'm able to continuously deploy new test builds without waiting for other peers in my team to review my work.
It does its job
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and straightforward. I need to create some feature flags, and Split allows me to do it. The interface is intuitive, it's easy to do some basic setup, and I am able to create a new feature flag literally in 1 minute.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really say that I dislike something, but I still didn't find a way to manage metrics in the way that I would like to... I guess I need to dig deeper to find some tutorials, but to be honest, I didn't really have time to do it. As I said, it's now a downside, it's not something that I don't like, it's just the thing that I miss right now and that I don't know how to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When our team is thinking about introducing a new feature, we often like to perform an A/B test, just to see if the users will like it or not. That's where Split comes in handy.
Feature flagging just became awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and maintain, Split io became our go-to service for managing new feature releases. Always-up and reliable service on-top of account based configuration allows us to deploy and test features in real-time, which empowers us with a controlled release process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is quick & easy to add feature flags it is not always clear how to deactivate them and when.
A guided tour for new users can help solve this issue, and explain the exact life cycle for a feature flag.
Also, getting a notification regarding fully released or no longer used flag can be good for cleaning up the board.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split allows us to test new features from multiple teams at the early stages of development, helps us with continuous deployment, without any code changes per used environment, which couldn't be done that easily without this service.
Being able to control which accounts will have access to the features, all in real-time just makes the difference.
We can react to technical issues and also contract changes with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Split for over three years now, they are a great team and outstanding product, super easy to use and add to our code.
We use the basic package, and it provides great value for us. We use mainly the feature toggle to enable quick releases with confidence.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the early days, we had CORS issues from our frontend SPA. We had back-and-forth discussions with their support team and eventually fixed it.
We did have a few issues where customers had toggles misbehave, we think it is related to a network/security issue that blocked Split server, but the last time it happened was about two years ago.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's some learning curve, but once we got familiar with it it was easy to operate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
deploy features gradually, and roll back without the need to revert to deploy a version again
Excellent product for feature toggles and beta testing.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to perform the UAT in a prod environment. Option of releasing features to the targetted group.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many feature toggles need to be tracked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing the features with A/B testing in prod gives me confidence before rolling it out to all users.
Easy feature flagging and experimentation
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Split.io is its user-friendly interface, making it easy for both developers and non-technical team members at our company to create, manage, and deploy feature flags.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular - there are some advanced features we haven't made use of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to be able to turn experiments and new features on and off easily without deploying code each time, and manage rollout of complex changes in a reversible way. Being able to have different environments for testing and targeting rules based on user profiles is valuable.
Simple to use and gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Besides the fact it does a great job from a technical perspective, the support provided by the Split team makes working with the system a delight. the recent UI changes are also very beautiful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The old UI was a little confusing, but things are improving very fast and the UX is getting better. Other than that - nothing comes to mind. It really does work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split enables us to implement roboust Feature Flags in production, which helps us deliver fixes, updates, and new features in a controlled mannor. We also use it for general testing and closed-group beta testing of new developments.
